We stayed as a family of five for one night at the beginning and the end of our trip in Germany, in two different apartments, one a three room apartment and a studio. Both places were very clean and organized, and very well equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The area is not the best of...

What a shame this was such a let down. It's an attractive apartment inside albeit a bit basic, but we stayed in the junior suite and had a number of problems: It's on 4th floor with incredibly steep stairs. Reception is very poorly manned so it was hard to get assistance where needed. No change of towels or bedding and...

We stayed in a studio, 2 beds and a double sofa bed, the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable for 3 nights, the beds were. Great location, one metro stop away from alexanderplatz. Nice and modern decor, kitchenette had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Shared the apartments with a group of guys.... Location okish, nothing special IMO. Rooms large and I was fortunate to have the bed as opposed to the sofa bed which wasn't very comfortable. Good little bakers at corner of the road for breakfast.

Stayed here with friends when in city for a couple of nights. Very nice and spacious apartments, in a very central location. Small cafe at the entrance for drinks and snacks. 10 min walk from train station and town centre. Would certainly stay again.

The apartments are in a good location just a short walk to the nearby metro station at Senerfelderplatz. The staff were helpful and very accommodating, breakfast was very nice and presented very nicely. The apartment was very lovely and fully kitted with crockery and a small hob, large fridge. We didn't cook anything but was adequate if you wanted to....

We loved this apartment on the edge of Mitte.it was perfect for our needs: clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. It does not have a lift, so no good if you can't do stairs. There is a supermarket nearby for food etc. And you can cook in the apartment. Overall a great time

Stayed in a great value fabulous apartment overlooking a lovely courtyard which was within walking distance of Alexanderplatz and close to the fabulous Berlin travel system for going further afield. A supermarket is just up the road which is really useful for bits and bobs (we mainly ate out though )Brilliant time. Wi fi in the apartment was strong too

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
