A busy Weekend in Berlin, Christmas Markets in full swing Schoenhouse was in the perfect location to get about either on foot or public transport. We had an apartment tucked away from the main road, spacious clean and warm. Receptionist very happy to help, taxis ordered arriving within 2 minutes. Small Cafe within reception with fresh pastries but the apartment...

i rented the flat for 6 month because i live in Berlin and I really suggest to everyone of you to go everywhere else but them, if you are not German you might be treated differently. not at all cooperative, you are just a number not a person, they care only about money

The apartment was just right for a short stay with our family of four. The location is brilliant, it's a nice neighbourhood with loads of great restaurants and is centrally located. Staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

The rooms in the 1-bedroom apartment were bigger than anticipated (and larger than they appear in photos). It was a very comfortable apartment in a good location with restaurants & cafes all around, plus a metro stop a block away. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and would stay there again if we ever make it...

Nice large studio room for 4. A little disappointed the extra bed was a double and not two singles (have two teenagers). Great location - easy access to all sites and also some nice eats at night. Found it hard to check out but then it was early on a Saturday

The apartment was fantastic.. we had one to sleep four and it was massive. Great kitchen facilities and the beds were really comfortable. Location was superb, 2 mins from underground . We arrived at 11am and although checkin was not till 3pm, our apartment was ready and we were allowed access. Would revisit.

We had 5 nights in the Schoenhaus Apartments which we found to be modern, roomy, clean and tidy. We loved the location of the apartments in Mitte. The staff at the apartments were exceptional and helped with all our never ending questions. The apartments are also within 5 minutes walk of the underground. We had an apartment was on the...

This appartment hotel is perfect both for businesstrips, for families and for trips with friends. The environment is green with a nice backyard, the people working there are friendly and the apartment is spacious, always with an extra sofa that you can convert into a double bed. The apartment itself makes you feel at home. The way they decorated it...

It is a very basic, minimalist room, clean and good shower bathroom etc. excellently situated close to Rosa Luxemburg underground. It has plenty of bars and restaurants either up or down the Allee and you can walk to the wall memorial if you are reasonably fit....wear walking shoes as a lot of the pavement is cobblestones.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
