Spent three nights here. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Beds were big and comfy. breakfast was the best 'all you can eat for €5.50' we have had after a month travelling Europe. Easy to get to trains and buses and plenty of places to eat close by.

I think this would be a great hostel for solo travellers as I found the atmosphere to be fantastic. They have a very nice bar that during happy hour (6-8pm) was very reasonably priced-it was just €1.50 for most ciders and beers and at all times you could get 10 shots for €17 which was great to share. The staff...

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in, the staff were amazingly helpful (we'd messed up our booking so would've had to change room halfway through our visit but they managed to swap things round so that we didn't have to do this which was so nice of them). We stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and...

The place is ok and there is a nice lounge. I enjoyed the happy hour beers a lot. However there were some issues with their organisation skills. Like, on my first night I had to change the room cuz there was a mixup. Otherwise, the sfuff is frendly and helpful. There were a lot of noise children, some organised school...

I travelled with a friend and we booked in a 12-bed dorm. At check-in a receptionist (named Melanie) did not give us information on the hostel, such as where the kitchen is (we didn't know there was one until we discovered it ourselves on the last day), she also didn't give us sheets, which resulted in us waking up the...

The hostel was quite clean and the price is very good. Is located quite close to the metro and easy to go to the city centre if your travelling there. It's not a very good hostel to met people at at least when I went people go in big groups like school trips. However there's a big kitchen, a bar...

I did not sleep well any night at this hostel. It is HUGE and was full of a lot of young kids/adults who liked to drink and be loud. However, they do usher people inside at a certain point late at night though to help with the noise. The hostel operation itself was noisy too. I it before am when...

Lots of rooms but enough bathrooms for all of them. Nice staff and excellent (paid) breakfast. Location could be better as it is not near to train/bus station or main attractions. Good value for money

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
