The room is not well cleaned and the sheets leave you with an uncomfortable feeling. When you check in, the clerk sign you up for a contract saying you won't throw anything to the toilet besides toilet paper-because they have problems with the plumbing. The good thing about the hotel is its location and the hospitality of the workers, but... More

I was part of a large group of guys staying in Berlin. This hotel was cheap enough for our budget and the location was ideal, the underground station is less than 5 minutes on foot. However the hotel itself was quite dated and badly in need of a renovation. My room was clean, however the shower and toilet left a... More

I loved the building and the street it was on, with great window shopping and bars/cafes. You need to take a lovely bus ride to get to the sites, but you managed to see the sites when taking the number 100 bus. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast adequate, but given the price you can't complain. The... More

I'm conflicted about this property. Our luggage did not arrive on our flight from London to Berlin. (Eurowings was the airline.) Eurowings did not handle the problem well, giving us a phone number that was never answered in order to check on our luggage. Kappa, the gentleman at the check-in desk, could not have been more helpful. He acted as... More

I arrived at the hotel easily, good location. The employee barely spoke English, however he explained a few things: location of the room, breakfast time and check out. The room was OK, however I requested a double and not a twin bed. No shampoo, old towels, uncomfortable pillows. The Wi-Fi wasn't working. The breakfast was OK but the kitchen staff... More

We arrived at the hotel a few hours later than expected due to a delay. The hotel was easy to find after a 40 minute train journey from the airport. A walk along the main high street of high end designer stores and its on a road to the right. We got to the main door and buzzed in. Up... More

Me and 2 my friends were spending 4 days in October 2015 at this hotel. Kima Hotel has great location, big rooms and bathrooms, good breakfast, and it looks really impressive inside. Only one problem was with wi-fi, very strange card-system there.

Me and my friend visited Berlin April 22nd to 24nd 2016. We arrived at the hotel and were presently surprised about the area. It's surrounded by high-class shops such as Prada, LV and Maybaach. We parked on the street right outside the hotel. After checking in the with the very friendly staff we went back outside to leave our complimentary... More

Great location for probably the best shopping street anywhere, designer shop heaven for anybody interested. 5 minute walk to the underground for access to all Berlin has to offer and it's a lot. Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
