Location was good, close to U-bahn and S-bahn station. Bus to/from Tegel Airport is just in front of the hotel. Restaurant, bars and supermarket close by. Room was nice, clean and all right size. Bathroom was a bit small but worked fine, a bit cold though. Heater in the room. WiFi was good, stable and high capacity. Bed was a...

We had some good days at Hotel Adam.nice breakfast, but cold hallways and cold room and bathroom. You need keys to get in and out of every room,we never really met the people that worked there but the lady at the counter on the first day. Very cheap, but do not stay here if you want to hang out in your room....

Room was the size of my bath room. Imagine the size of the bathroom within this room. Shower didn't work. Bed was like Pisa tower, leaning on one side. Pillow was made out of blanket. SInk water was spraying all over the bathroom. TV must have been acquired in 1980s, thank goodness it did not work.

breakfast was surprisingly alright, but the rooms were very small, and there is no elevator. It is however VERY close to the Charlottenburg station. The workers were very accommodating as long as they understood you, but they don't really speak English. We spoke to them mainly in Russian. Decent place to just sleep, if you mainly want to walk around...

Chose the hotel for being very close to U bahn and S bahn stations, and to Kurfurstendamm and Charlottenburg palace, and as it included breakfast. For a budget hotel, it was clean, felt safe, and after asking ahead for a quiet room, we got one. This was perfectly OK, apart from awful soft pillows. Buffet breakfast was pretty good. Around...

This is a refurbished, old style hotel with some lovely period features (bannisters, doors etc). We had a very spacious room with ensuite bathroom (shower over bath) both of which had been recently redecorated and were clean, light and airy. There was a very good wifi connection, and we were able to Skype whilst we were staying at the Adam....

Stayed here for two nights after having to leave Hotel 103. Nice simple room, lovely breakfast, very close to Charlottenburg station. The staff we encountered did not speak very good English but that didn't cause any problems and overall I would recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is definitely not the Ritz, but it served its purpose. We were in town for the ACDC Concert and the room prices were the attraction. Its close to the S and U Bahn so getting about is easy, if on another lads break would use again.

We spent four nights at Hotel Adam and would definitely stay again on another trip to Berlin. The first impression is not great, but once into the courtyard it's fine. The rooms are small and simple, but given we were sightseeing most of the time anyway this didn't present a problem. We found the rooms very clean and reasonably well...

The hotel's location is fantastic, a few minutes walk from the subway station where three lines run towards the city center, and a minute away from the bus 109 that goes to the airport.Breakfast is good and there is always enough for all guests. Internet is free and the signal is strong. Cleanliness of the hotel is not at a...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
