We stayed in this hotel for a 2 night city break and were very impressed. It is very convenient for the City Centre about a 20 min walk to Alexanderplatz. The tramstop is at the end of the street and the U Bahn station is a 5 min walk away. The rooms are large, the shower excellent and the breakfast...

The location of this hotel is AMAZING. It is in the heart of the Friedrichshain neighborhood, which is full of cool shops and bars and restaurants. You can walk to dinner every night and enjoy a wide variety of international types of foods. There is also a very cool craft beer/ soda shop down the street. The hotel has a...

Tidy, neat and clean apartment, small and self contained. The fold away bed wasn't very comfortable for my teenage daughter and I'll always find double beds with single duvets on them strange not matter how much Euro travelling I do. Check in was efficient and friendly. Nothing spectacular about this place, good base for exploring and concerts at the nearby...

Very nice hotel with Russian-speaking personnel situated in the eastern part of Berlin (5 minutes from u-ban). The breakfasts are quite tasty. It's one of the best options for a business-trip. The Internet connection is very poor...

The hotel is nice enough, and clean, but forget sleeping if your room faces the small courtyard between buildings. From 7am on (on a Tuesday!) there was a group of men yelling and laughing and what I can only say sounds like dragging beer bottles and throwing bottle caps at the ground. Aside from that, any car that drives by...

Positives; - great friendly and helpful staff - clean and very spacious rooms - adjustable room heaters to keep you warm ( not to be taken for granted as some hotels have central heating and not necessarily warm rooms) - great showers (although it's abit small but still lovely) - fabulous location..quick walk to train and tram, nearby shops and...

Unhelpful staff, they attempted to bill me twice the price of the room at check-in. Any request about city sightseeing, restaurants or even general queries about transfer to the airport were handled with lack of professionalism. I think there are some management issues at this place. Rooms are clean but with no minibar or other service. A bit pricey considering...

My wife and I stayed for four nights for our first trip to Berlin. The outside of the hotel is a bit deceiving, as once you go inside the reception is wonderfully decorated in a Prussian style. The staff are very helpful, and whatever we asked for was done immediately. Breakfast is a mix of fried meats, fruit, continental pastries...

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
