This was a very good hotel with great service and central location. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you to Eddie, Maria and Andreszj for making our stay a great experience. The hotel also provided bike hire which made our trip around Berlin heaps of fun. Rnya and Ramsin

The staff, location, and facilities are first-rate. I highly recommend the hotel. The standard rooms are NYC-style small, but they're (and the other rooms) are well designed. If you can spare the money, I'd upgrade to a deluxe room for more space.

Stayed here for six nights. Not a great looking hotel from the outside but good facilities, ok sized rooms, good value & most importantly a great location. Just five minutes from Alexanderplatz station.

We stayed here with our teenage sons & had a fabulous time. The rooms were a little small, but were clean and had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy. The breakfast was amazing - the selection on offer was extensive. The restaurant in the evening was also excellent. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly,...

We met so many nice people in this hotel but Janin at the reception was the best. She helped us with making surprise for our parents anniversary. She was open to our ideas and helpful by realization of it. If someone can bring something extraordinary it's her! Thank you!

Very modern hotel, in an excellent city location. Ideal for transport the hustle and bustle of Alexanderplatz. Good sound proofing so no problems from noise outside the hotel. It’s actually difficult to describe how good the hotel is, it’s just that good. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as there are literally dozens of restaurants within a two...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
