We arrived early so the reception staff allowed us to store our luggage and advised on where to find the local restaurants. The room was much larger than we expected and they provided a fan to cool us down in the hot weather.
Nice residential location near Boxhagener Platz, basic hotel room but clean and maintained. Good breakfast. Quiet room, no AC but fan is provided. Good cleaning service. Staff was helpful with requests.

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
