We had a great stay with a nice and very spacious room. The beds were very comfortable with a great pillows "menu" as well. The hotel's staff was excelent and super friendly. We wish to commend and to thank to Miss Svenja Krone, which from the first moment (at check-in) and till our last day, was amazing and helpful in...

A great place to stay in Berlin - the staff are extremely helpful. The standard was set as soon as we arrived at the hotel where we were helped with our luggage and then given a very warm welcome at the reception desk. The free drink in the bar helped too. For anyone looking for a pleasant and straightforward place...

Spent three nights on a city break in this outstanding hotel. The location was very handy to shopping, restaurants, transport routes and right beside a brilliant zoo. The service was first class and everything was reasonably priced. I intend to go back again!

This hotel was AMAZING! The staff were SO friendly, courteous, and helpful. The hotel itself is modern and pretty with every amenity you need. As soon as we walked up we felt comfortable and more than welcome (which is often hard to find). The location is great as it is close to shopping, restaurants, the zoo, and other things. The...

From the outside the hotel can be described as unusual. Once inside we were charmed by the wonderful staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were truly welcoming. The room itself was more than adequate with good TV, a welcome Nespresso machine and a very efficient and spotless bathroom. Looking out...

After staying at the hotel for the last five years it is about time that I heap some praise on a particular staff member. Timo, in Concierge is a fellow who goes above and beyond was it expected in giving hotel guests what they need. On my very first vist and at that time he was working at the front...

We had 3 rooms on the fifth floor facing the courtyard/cows. Loved the hotel. The rooms are not sound proof, and one can hear people walking and talking. The neighborhood is good if ur into shopping, which we're not. U need to take the train to the Old or Historic district. Staff upscale and professional. Gym being renovated during our...

Swisshotel Berlin is a good hotel in a central location in Kudamn. Close to the zoo and main shoppingstreet. The rooms in the hotel is ok and nothing more. The decor and size of the room are maybe not 5 star worthy. The concierge service was not good at all. The first day they sent us to a closed place....

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
