The location is excellent, right on the Ku-damm with shops, restaurants and public transport literally around the corner…5 minutes walk to the Zoo station and KadeWe department store. The check in was efficient and I was shown to my room by the same staff member who explained the facilities including the Nespresso coffeemaker. The furnishings, lighting and fittings were stylish... Stayed for 2 nights. Near underground (zoological gardens) with easy access to sights. Modern hotel, nice rooms, professional (English speaking) staff. Didn't have breakfast or dinner so I cannot comment. Would recommend.

My partner and I stayed here for a 4 night city break. It was our first time to visit Berlin and we found the location was very central and convienient. We were right beside the underground station and the Hop on Hop off bus stop. The main shopping street the Ku'daam is on your doorstep here and the KaDeWe is... More

I found this hotel exceptional. I have not one complaint. The staff were wonderful, nothing was ever to hard for them to do. They remembered your room number in the bars and even some if what you ordered. You were treat no different then anyone else, and they always made you feel that extra special. Their service was exceptional and... More

The service at this hotel is top notch, from the bar and restaurant staff to the reception staff. Location is perfect; concierge was VERY helpful. Rooms are well appointed - you can even order your prefered type of pillow from the "pillow menu". Bathrooom included seperate bathtub and shower. Only possible improvement would be free wi-fi in rooms.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days from 1 January and found it to be excellent in every way. Only booked the basic rooms which overlooked an internal courtyard but they were well appointed, spacious and modern. Reception is on the 4th floor, which requires a change of lift each time but with this hotel I did not find it... More

Stayed in the Swissotel for three nights for a business trip and it was a good stay. The room was very well furnished, if a little tight for space in places, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was excellent - very large with a very good shower and a big bath. I upgraded slightly to a room with a Kurfustendamm... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
