Hotel is in a fantastic location, two stations nearby Samariterstrasse and Frankfurter Allee, they both have very easy access to Alexanderplatz. In the local area you have a supermarket pretty much next door, plenty of kebab shops and bars. Hotel staff were great, really helpful...More

My wife, son and I stayed at the Arcadia Hotel from 26/03/18 to 29/0318. For what we paid for a 3 night stay we were delighted with the hotel, it was excellent to use as a base for getting around Berlin and had lots of...More

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.

There are some bars within reasonable walking distance and night life seems pretty good around the area. I can’t recall the name of a place I went back in 2013, as this past trip last month we spent more time in Alexanderplatz area, however the hotel staff can direct you to the “bar/eatery” spots. Even then public transportation like the S Bahn or U Bahn can take you all over Berlin quickly and very economically. Hope this helps answer your question. Enjoy your time in Berlin.
