Great little hotel, stayed here 3 nights over Easter. Great location for transport links, loads of restaurants in walking distance. Didn't have breakfast option as we prefer to go and explore new places (highly recommend Grosz over the road).

A German friend recommended this hotel...and we were really pleased with location, building, restaurant & price! In the middle of great shopping area with lots of restaurants! Staff was quite helpful, especially getting us taxi for very early flight! We would definitely stay again.
What a great location. The heart of the shopping district. The hotel has a nice pool and bar which was great. The staff was super professional and very helpful. The rooms where very clean. You can get spa treatment as well.
We recently visited Berlin and stayed two nights at The Hotel Mondial. It is very well situated KDamm which is Berlin's main shopping street. From here it is possible to travel to all parts of the City via excellent public transport.

The Berlin Christmas markets did not disappoint. However it was our choice of hotel that made our short visit a delight. Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Not sure if they can but in Berlin it is not really necessary. You will find many taxis waiting at the airport and the ride should be less than 15 minutes. Cost can range from 9-15 Euros depending on traffic.
