This was my 5th time at Flower's Boardinghouse Mitte and I still find it to be one of the best places to stay in Berlin. It's comfortable, clean, it has a great location to explore Berlin and a reasonable price!

stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed this accommodation. The kitchen is small and equipped with most things and if we required anything else the lovely staff were more than happy to help. The apartment was spacious with nice furnishings, it is in a good location as it's only a 5 minute walk to the underground or tram stops...

We stayed 4 nights, based on the recommendation of a friend. Very good location for walking to Museum Island, Brandenburg Gate, shops, etc. They have morning coffee and croissants in the lobby. For 8 Euros, they will do your laundry, and return it neatly folded. Groceries nearby, and lots of eateries. Very clean and utilitarian in a very good location.

The first time I stayed here I was hooked, great studio like apartments. It is located very central. Many great restaurants bars and clubs all in walking distance. Public transport at end of the street. Flowers is clean modern and offers free coffee and croissants in the morning which is a nice touch if you don't want to make your own...

Great welcome. very helpful reception staff . great spacious apartment, spotless. Close to tube stations and some very good places to eat. Our room had a double bed in it but without asking they asked if we would prefer singles which was great saved my daughter from my restless sleeping.

I was provided with a cosy duplex apartment in the two upper floors of the Flower's building featuring a small balcony and a gorgeous view of the Berlin TV tower. Located in the very heart of Berlin there is immediate access to Berlin-Mitte, Alexanderplatz, Hackesche Hoefe and Scheunenviertel with many breakfast places, restaurants, bars and shops. Despite the hustle and...

This is a great apartment, large and airy, bright and perfectly centered near lots of sites. The staff are helpful and kind. The street is noisy, with a couple of cafes, but it is worth the little bit of noise to have such a nice, place to stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals; all we needed...

Great location, most of the sightseeing locations are in walking distance, a little breakfast with hot beverages and croissants is included. The only criticism we had where the slightly dirty tap and limited cooking utensils.

Loved our apartment. We booked a superior room for the three of us. The hotel was kind enough not to charge us for the extra bed for our son. The apartment had all basic needs and a nice kitchen. The area was very central too. We could walk to most of the central places. Lovely restaurants and cafes nearby as...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
