Great hotel in a fabulous location, staff are lovely, beds are so comfortable as was our whole experience at this hotel. Would not hesitate to use again. We never had breakfast so cannot comment on that but every aspect of our stay here was enjoyable and just a few metres from both the u-bahn and bus stop. Around 10 minutes walk...

The hotel is very well located, very near the Kurfürstendamm with lots of shops, near the GedächtnissKirche and at walking distance from the Kadewe (if you fancy shopping). Also a Subway station is very near: UhlandStrasse U1. The rooms are reasonable spatious, basic and are kept clean very well. Allthough the hotel has an elevator, it might not be suitable...

We stayed here as a couple. Pros: it was close to everything. Room clean and basic. Definitely good value for location. Staff friendly and helpful. Cons: may not suit some people as the lifts dont go to every floor and you must walk up stairs with luggage.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights we were in Berlin for ITB expo. But because the expo is really famous the hotels are trying to make as much as they can ...we paid €850 for the 4 nights per double room ..it was big renovated clean room! So we were pretty satisfied of what we were looking at...

Nice and clean but to get to superior rooms you need to get into building, go through garden, get into next building and finally you are there. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast for very nice price (13€ pp). You can check in or out anytime.

Very nice hotel, much better than on photos. In the very center of city, metro station right in front of hotel, which is very important in large city like Berlin. Great value for money we spent. Would recommend to include breakfast when booking hotel. Only disadvantage was that you need to take stairs before getting to the reception, which is...

Hotel Augusta is located in west Berlin very close to bus stop and a metro, so it is a great place to stay if you wish to explore the city and get the feel of the west side of the city - lots of restaurants and shopping around. The wifi is for free and there is a breakfast you can...

Hotel Augusta has a very nice location, 100 meters from Kurfurstendamm, on a quiet street. Augusta is "old fashioned", elegant and very nice. We had a large room with good, big bed and also big chairs to sit after a long day in the city. The breakfast was good, breakfast room smallish and "crowded" between 9-10 am. The personnell is...

Stayed four nights for some business, and the hotel is kind of nice. It's actually more lika a series of rooms spread out over a couple of nearby buildings. Be prepared to climb some stairs with your luggage. You press the bell to get in, then up one floor (no lift) to the reception. In my case I then needed...

Sign said best view in town, Not to bad a view, but the view from the rented holiday house was just as good, if not better. And the view inside was just bad. First time I rated a Zero! First I was afraid I dressed to daggy, let me clear that up now, nope. Loud locals on a Sunday night...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
