I am part of the staff of a large fantasy convention and we resided in this hotel for a few times now. The staff is willing to go that extra mile for us. The service feels personal and the extra requests are dealt with properly....More
Comfortable and very well equipped for a conference, with a choice of decent restaurants. Not a place that I'd choose for personal travel, though. Situated slightly out of the center to the East. About 400m from the s-bahn. Rooms and beds are comfortable.
We had a very nice spacy suite in the front building with perfect view to the distant downtown area. The S-Bahn is 5 minutes from the hotel and let you reach every point in Berlin easily. Bikes can be rented.

I attended a conference, so I wasn't expecting too much. The hotel is fairly modern, with some upgrading going on. But even in the midst of remodeling, it was nice. Be sure to get a room on an upper floor, facing north or west. I...More

No Berlin neighbourhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as “Little Istanbul“. Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down
Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
