The Mercure Hotel Berlin Tempelhof is a standard Mercure Hotel where one can stay for a trip to Berlin. It is not luxurious but the rooms are clean and modern. The restaurant food is of a good standard and the waiters and waitresses were in the main friendly and helpful.

Clean, standard hotel. In a bit of a dull area but you're right by the underground so it doesn't really matter. Walking distance of the Turkish market which is nice. Staff are nice but you won't get any extras and the bar downstairs has no atmosphere. If you're going for a night out get a taxi (they're not too expensive)....

Clean and well kept room. Near to a lot of restaurants, can also get halal food nearby. Hugely good. Helpful sraff at reception.Though expensive for food, 'complimentary' water bottle in room cost €3.90!

Nice break fast. Male receptionist very funn and charming. Taxis always just outside. Free good WiFi. No minibar, have to buy drink in the reception. No good bar or restaurant. Bathrooms are vold and toalett paper is just as the sovnet union period. Bad neighborhood and too expensive rooms. Doubt I will return. Noisy.

We live at the hotel because our daughter live close to it. The surroundings are not the most fantastic, but it is close to the u-bahn, and the hotel is so nice to live in. Very quiet, nice staff, nice rooms, fantastic breakfast.

We have stayed at this hotel six times and have always received a warm welcome. The rooms are spacious, light and airy. They are very well kept and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is buffet style and of a high quality.

Pretty much on-the-point service wit highest accuracy by reception (check-in, taxi) bar and everyone else involved at MERCURE Tempelhof, knowing that almost all ACCOR Hotels are quite good in this, but this was exceptional. Thumbs up!

Staying in Berlin to visit my daughter and stayed here as close to where she's staying Its not a great location but it's reasonably priced and a perfectly adequate clean hotel but OMG the beds are rocks! Back home now and still seriously suffering with my back.

We came to Berlin for a wedding, first city break with our one-year-old and first time we stayed in a hotel. When we arrived there was a little bath duck toy awaiting our daughter! We stayed in a family room which had lots of space and a cot was made available at no cost. The hotel can arrange for a...

Staying in Neukolln

Neighbourhood Profile
Neukolln
No Berlin neighbourhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as “Little Istanbul“. Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.

“When I arrived at my room late in the evening, the bottle of mineral water set out on a tray was a welcome site. It was only on the third night that I noticed tiny writing of E3.90 next to the big writing "Refresh Yourself". This is such a mean stingy little gesture for an otherwise good quality hotel ”
