I've stayed at the Bleibreu many times due to their high quality, friendliness and great location. What else can I say? Normally a great price too! It's the hotel of choice for members of our family when we visit family or get together in Berlin.

The hotel is in an excellent location with many stores near you, many restaurants and many bars. Transportation is around the corner. The hotel itself is nice but rooms are way too small. Bathroom is uncomforatablento shower in it (due to space). Overall is a good spot to organize your exits but not so much as a resting room. No...

Lovely hotel in a great location, with friendly staff, and rooms that are clean and tastefully decorated. I slept well in the bed too :-) I will definitely return to the Bleibtreu Hotel... and soon. My kind of place! I'd like to give them 4.5 stars actually....

Small room, very hot for external tempering without AC and with a smaller table Fan Great breakfast and overall high quality staff service. The next time I will ask more about the room and the facilities before booking, because in 2015 I had a much better accommodation

Decent hotel in a classy shopping district of Berlin (Kurfurstendamm). Lots of restaurants nearby. Bus to Tegel AirPort around the corner, U-bahn a few streets away. Rooms not very big but comfortabel with smart facilities and good bathroom. Breakfast absolutely fabulous, homemade fresh food, definitely fivestar rating! Nice and helpful personel.

Good service and very clean. Location was a bit out of town but close enough to S Bahn station. Twin Room was rather small and there was no bar area - the staff in the bar under the hotel were not very friendly

The hotel itself is in a good location and the rooms are average. It is a bit of a modern attempt which is lacking quality. The price for the walking was high considering the quality but I needed a hotel. After two hours approximately I needed to check out due to family reasons. The hotel charged the full room rate...

This beautiful boutique hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood near many good restaurants. Very cozy atmosphere with fresh, modern rooms. Great breakfast. Good service. The only downside was the lack of air-conditioning during the summer.

We were disappointed; the hotel fell far short of our expectations. Our standard room was uncomfortable and looking rather tired - carpet, for instance, was soiled and matted. Window was small and overshadowed meaning that the room was dark and badly ventilated. there is no air-conditioning - something needed in a berlin summer. There is no lounge or sitting space...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With an intimate atmosphere, charm and a mix of art, design and homely comfort, the Bleibtreu opened in the Bleibtreustrasse near the Kurfürstendamm in 1995. Housed in a patrician house dating back to the 19th century, the hotel lies in one of the most beautiful side streets off the Kurfürstendamm. Sunday breakfast at the hotel’s own Deli 31, in the company of local residents, the cordial atmosphere of the hotel immediately conveys to guests the feeling of temporarily being a local in Charlottenburg. And makes them eager to return to the Bleibtreu again and again. The hotel’s central location is impressive too. It’s less than half an hour from Tegel airport and the Hauptbahnhof and close to the classy boutiques of international designers. ... more   less
