Room not ready at 3.00pm on arrival. Drinks and food in poor very poor quality, slow service with insufficient staff. Would not recommend. Tried to charge for free welcome drinks, chips undercooked, nasty white bread in club sandwich and hard fried chicken in Caesar salad. Poor quality with lengthy delays

This hotel is in a superb location in the heart of Berlin, the rooms are impeccable and and the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel has a wide range of services including a lovely pool, gym and sauna free of charge which me and my girlfriend made the most of! Cannot fault this hotel, really enjoyed my 4 night stay...

This hotel ahs a good location which is one reason why I chose it the other being that it had a heated pool. It is directly opposite the train station which was handy to get to/from the Airport, the pool is small but all we needed after a busy day sight seeing. Bath robes and slippers were very useful if...

It is located in a center of city. And you can go to the memorial places and go for a shopping by walk. In December, you can visit a Christmas market by walk too. Staffs are friendly. This time, it was a family trip including a baby. I was very happy as my baby was warm welcomed. Breakfast was good.

a great hotel, the location is unbelievable - right out of the main train station in the center of the city! friendly staff, nice pool, the room has no exterior window but it doesn't matter especially in winter time

Stayed from 17 Dec to 20 Dec. Very nice room, albeit the view wasn't very good. Bed very large. Bathroom very very nice. Cleaned every day. Had a drink in the bar one night whilst watching a singer/piano player. Very polite staff and all spoke English very well. Great pool and sauna facilities. Great location - right next to the...

Nicely kept hotel that has an excellent location. It is situated right next to the metro which makes it easy to get around the city to explore. My one gripe is that there didn't ever seem to be concierge to give any help or advice.

I was in this Hotel for business. The Hotel is nice, centrally located, good looking. But please improve your assistance to your customers! 1.the room was not cleaned the first day (I had to ask for it at 6 pm) 2.the worst experience was when I was asking just for a cappuccino in the morning instead of a full continental...

So deciding to visit this beautiful city of Berlin as a anniversary gift, we decided to go for this hotel for 3 days 2 nights as it allowed us an easy access and it gave us the opportunity to stay right in the city centre. Baring in mind, the hotel is so beautiful itself but it's shameful as the staff...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
