The hotel is located very close to Alexander Platz. Close to public transportation and the metro or train station. I enjoyed my stay and had no issues whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in December whilst visiting the German markets. The hotel is well located, with a service station immediately outside, great for bits and pieces. There is a tram stop over the road, and it's only a ten minute walk to Alexanderplatz. The rooms are clean, reasonably sized, with everything needed for a short city break....

Good place which gives value for money and is located at a strategic location. Main tourist spots as well as main streets for evenings are close by. We stayed for 3 days here. The staff is helpful. Though options to eat within the restaurant are limited. There is an underground paid parking as well.

Lovely clean hotel with good size rooms. Good location, 5 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. Helpful and friendly staff, rooms cleaned every morning with fresh towels. Only one mirror in room which is on the back of the bathroom door so if you need to use the mirror then the bathroom has to be free. Brilliant taxi service from reception.

Really nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, good room, really good value for money, nice location only two stops tram from alexander platz. We went as a big group and made lots of noises but everyone were really nice and helpful to us.

Arrived for a conference with another male and they had booked us a double bed, awkward. When they changed our room eventually the room stank of smoke, very basic hotel not much to it. Good for a base to see Berlin but not for a romantic getaway.

This hotel provides excellent breakfast. Fresh and diverse. The location in East Berlin is great because : 1. It is very accessible by car from Holland. Takes only 5 minutes from the highway to get there. 2. Safe private parkingspace for 10euro / 24hr. 3. Near alexanderplatz. Best U- and S Bahn connection in Berlin. 4. Clean, simple, spacious rooms....

Very nice hotel, near Alexanderplatz 10/15 minutes walk, very good breakfast, clean, spatious room, warm in december! I would recommend it anytime as best choice for money versus quality! Free PC and printers on the lobby for the checkin online, they watch over your luggage if you want to leave them and spend the day in the town before your...

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
