The location is good where you can go by walking through shopping streets, cafes, resto and public transpo. Also the services are great. The receptionist, crews or staff are friendly and very approachable.

Spent three nights here and found the room clean, though it was a smoking room and smelled accordingly. The front desk couldn't move me as they were fully booked but they sprayed the room which helped along with the open window. The breakfast was OK. The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke English. It was the location that...

It was nice staying here. The location is perfect. The minus is that my room was too smal , I expected more from 4stars hotel. And the kettle is not in every room. Every day I asked hot water in the bar. Personnel is very polite and always ready to help.

The hotel was lovely, except for the hallway on the 7th floor where the carpet was stained and the telephone was hanging off the wall. Our suite was lovely and made our stay really enjoyable. The staff were really helpful and polite, the breakfast was lovely too! We found the location ideal for getting around Berlin.

Pros:Great location, friendly, helpful staff, nice lobby Contras: non smoking rooms smelled really bad of cigarettes, Requested a double bed and we had two single beds pushed together that were not fixed together so kept moving away from each other. Looked much better on the pictures

Stayed in Mark Hotel in early December 2016 for the Christmas market. The hotel is in good place tho shops are just within few meters away the property is in a quiet spot. It's a bit run down like carpets are worn out needs some updating and a lick of paint will improve the general appearance of the hotel. The...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
