Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

A nice, large room, individually decorated, very quiet overlooking the beautiful backyard, very bright through large windows, small desk, great bathroom amenities, all picobello clean. In the morning I got a delicious cappuccino prepared before the official breakfast and could enjoy it in bed. Very friendly staff. I will definitely come back.

Excellent hotel in a great location/beautiful surroundings. The hotel is on the 4th floor of a building near Kurfürstendamm. The elevator is a real blast. First installed in 1906 (technically modernized since then), it moves like one - with a calmness and regularity that is remarkable. The excellent breakfast must be mentioned - everything was fresh, a great selection. Our room had a beautiful, high ceiling, was exquisitely furnished and very large. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. So, in summary, everything was great!

Your house gets a solid 10/10 for stylish and historic rooms that are very well maintained despite their age. The furnishings are stylish and give you a feeling of "home".

Very nice staff, friendly contact and quick/professional help.

A house with history and an excellent breakfast - we would gladly return anytime!

The Art Nouveau is an owner-managed hotel in an old Wilhelminian villa in Charlottenburg. Here the boss himself is there for the guests and you notice that in everything: starting with the booking, check-in, breakfast, conversations in the hallway - you feel welcome and at home. All other employees are also always friendly and extremely courteous. The interior is extremely tasteful and high-quality. Everything is prepared individually for breakfast, the food is organically grown/from the region. Add to that the central location, beautiful, quiet rooms and a roof terrace for relaxing when the weather is good. A great hotel that we will go back to any time we come to Berlin.

Away from countless modern hotels in the heart of Berlin-Charlottenburg and less than a stone's throw from the Kurfürstendamm with Hermes, Gucci....., this small, owner-managed hotel offers the rare opportunity to get to know a classic Berlin floor hotel. Unfortunately, they don’t often exist anymore, these charming hostels that offer you a sense of security amidst metropolitan anonymity. A tastefully designed breakfast room with a rich buffet, my small, stylishly designed single room with an excellent mattress and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere in the middle of the vibrant metropolis, have contributed significantly to my well-being in the city, so I will gladly come back. If there was another shoe-screwer waiting for me in my room, everything would be perfect!

We came as a family and wanted to experience Berlin. We never thought that the hotel alone would be such a wonderful experience. The room was wonderful, the staff indescribably friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in particular was exceptional and very varied. The breakfast staff were sensationally accommodating and attentive.
The rooms were very well maintained and clean.
In the evening you could have a small drink on the roof terrace, above the rooftops of Berlin. Family hotel with a lot of heart and love! We will definitely be back!

The location is also brilliant, close to the S-Bahn or very good restaurants...

Thanks to the hotel, you made our trip even more special!

Individual, atmospheric, homely and personal - between Art Nouveau and the Golden Twenties paired with modern art: a mix that simply suits Berlin. A counterpoint to staying in anonymous chain hotels.
The personal approach of Ingo, the hotel manager at the reception, and Ludmilla at the breakfast buffet also fits in with this.
I felt at home. Thank you!

Every time we come to Berlin, we stay at the Art Nouveau Hotel. It's a small, cozy hotel in a historic building. Every room is decorated differently, all of them have heigh ceilings, wooden floors and very comfortable beds. The breakfast is exceptionally good. The fridge offers beverages with an honour system. All the staff are very friendly. If you appreciate an authentic stay experience, look no further!
Also many great restaurants in walking distance.

Of particular note is the warmth of the breakfast team and the owner. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, and the room is uniquely designed. The rooms are also unique, no 0815, but you should not expect a chic bathroom.
Next time I would prefer a room to the rear as quite noisy from the street. Thanks for the good time!
