Gorgeously decorated clean hotel, fantastic stay, staff very friendly. Near to the subways and other restaurants, the beds were comfy and it had everything we needed good hairdryer, iron, the room was spacious we Would definitely go back again. We enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar one evening reasonably priced and friendly atmosphere.

very comfortable hotel, rooms are slightly small and dont have a view however are really close to some really good restaurant and is about 10 mts walk from the metro station. stay here if you get a good deal here. i think calling it a art hotel is a slight stretch as there is not much art here.

Everything was good except for the pillow that was incredibly uncomfortable. The cleaning was ok as well as the forniture. I booked an economy room but they kindly gave me a better room for the same price. Please change the pillows!!!

Charlottenburg is one of my favorite areas in Berlin. Buildings, places, people, artists, restaurants, shopping. Art-Hotel is a nice place to get in touch with Charlottenburg and Berlin. The Metro station is a few steps away - a couple minutes and your are at Kurfürstendamm, Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz. The rooms are small, but clean; the towels are thin, but the...

The bathroom smelled of urine and the towels thin. The free wifi advertised didn't reach the room. As most hotels in Germany there was no air conditioning so we had to leave a window open..... The street sounds from the street last into the wee hours of the morning and the cigarette smoke from the street floated into the room....

Cosy and relaxing hotel. Pleasant atmosphere. The room was small but nice as well as the bathroom. Not a room for more than 2 day-stay. Convenient place to Olympia Stadion just opposite the S-Bahn U-Bahn station. Lovely restaurants, bars und pubs all around the area.

right across from an S bahn stop, so very convenient. People are pleasant, rooms are comfy and clean, though not elegant, breakfast for 10 Euros is a good way to stoke up for a day! Berlin is easy to get around in, so you don't have to stay in a major (expensive) hotel, but can enjoy the parks and art...

I came back to Berlin for another ITB fair, and decided to stay at the same hotel again. It is very close to the train, two stops to the Messe. I like the bed quality, there is a good place to work with good net. Breakfast next door is quite ok. I would like to not have to iron my...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
