Nice place, close to museum and bundestag, room very clean and very good breakfast. A little bit noise due to the disco club in front of the hotel... hotel doors close early in the evening (around 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.) and you have to ring to enter. A key for each room...it's better for each person!

Spend a little city holiday with my better half in Berlin and decided to stay in All Seasons Berlin Alexanderplatz. According TripAdvisor picture, the hotel seemed quite new and cosy, which it really was. I usually prefer hostels, but this time decided to put a little more money in, and upgrade to a hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, good... More

This is one of the increasing number of Hotels where management has decided that the room cooling can only be switched on after considerable argument. There are other niggling problems - stairs between the street and check-in counter, only one elevator to the rooms. But the airconditioning is a show-stopper (see the other reviews here). Next time I will choose... More

It's certainly different. Think Holiday Inn Express goes even more functional, with stencilled walls and bright fittings, all designed to make the basic design look "cool".  Located in a busy student area. Smallest room I have stayed in since tight budget travel in my teens, so small not even a desk or table in the room,  but a kind of... More

This hotel is suitable for backpackers type couple. Its about 3-5 mins walk to alexanderplatz. If you arrived berlin for a reason to see the Tv Tower or just to get a feel of Alexanderplatz from Bourne Identity/supremacy, this hotel is worth staying for then. There is also a free internet computer at the reception and plus free tea/coffee area... More

During my visit I stayed at this 3 star hotel. didn't expect mush, after all just a 3 stars... but the location is great, the staff is very helpful, the rooms are very clean and convenient, and the breakfast is exceptionally good. This is great value for your money. Very recommended!!... More

Excellent rooms, quite large, nice furnished, and clean. We have been there in December-January, shortly after the hotel opened. Breakfast is nice. There no restaurant or bar, but there are several in the area. There are sandwiches available at the reception desk. I have no idea if there is Internet connection: we have been there for a short holiday :)... More

This was my first visit in Berlin and i was looking for a central located hotel, and i found this one. For someone who travels a lot, i stayed in many hotels and this one is probably one of the more comfortable and pleasant stays i had in a hotel. I had a single room on the 7th floor and... More

I stayed for three nights late June 2011 after a business conference that I attended in Berlin. I had read the reviews on TripAdvisor so I kind of knew what to expect. The conference that I attended was at the Marriott hotel in Potsdamer Platz and I took a taxi from there but the driver had a slight problem locating... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
