Could be better, and is probably let down by better options locally. Seems short staffed, you pay extra for bed linen which is a bit unreasonable, plus extra for fast wifi, come on this is 2016! On the plus side it's a pretty chilled out place, rooms are spacious and clean. Location is good.

First, this is a hostel with mainly dorm rooms and shared bathroom facilities. And it is mainly catered to younger travelers. It is also in a neighborhood famous for its nightlife. For a youth hostel like this, I am glad that it is actually not too noisy. There is a bar downstairs behind the reception, but the atmosphere at the...

Yes, it's clean, quiet, beds are comportable, staff is excellent, it's cheap but above all the location is fantastic. Wedged inbetween Kreuzberg and Fredichshein it's close to everything you'll need in form of clubs, restaurants and bars. Not interested in these things? Well, then there's probably better alternatives in Mitte etc. I've stayed in several hostels in Berlin, but this...

The place located close to S-bahn (train) and U-bahn (metro) lines and really close to the Oberbaumbruecke. An old industrial building, renovated and turned into a stylish industrial-themed hostel. If you want to explore the city by walk it could be a great choice. The place is too good for its price! It is quiet, with lots of light and...

After one night we were moved room, causing a lot of hassle and inconvenience. We learned that this was something a lot of other guests had to do. It seemed that profit rather than guest comfort was the top of the agenda for the hostel. We were "compensated" with free bedding and free towels. To be honest, as bedding should...

The Hostel was well organized, very friendly and just as it was described. My colleagues and I stayed here for the experience while visiting Berlin since none of us had slept in a Hostel previously. Everything was clean, secure and inviting. The street was noisy throughout the weekday night but the guests in the rooms beside us were not.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
