Berlin is heartbeat of the youth for Europe, and this hotel is the epicenter of cool, hip and comfortable. There is no grand entry for what was once began as a department store owned by a Jewish family then housed the Reich Youth Leadership and after the fall of the Berlin Wall was rightfully returned to the original Jewish Family...

It is not just a hotel it is a lifestyle. And if you are one of the modern, mobile citizens of the world, this is the right place for you. The atmosphere in the hotel is cool and relaxed, you feel yourself as an insider while staying there. Like knowing a secret which nobody else know. Of course service, quality...

We were instructed not to wear suits when staying at the Soho House and it quickly became apparent: the service is of the very relaxed but efficient kind that makes one feel quickly at home. The staff are uber-friendly and dressed in the main in T Shirts and jeans: this led to my having a conversation with one in the...

I visited Berlin with my wife and 18-year old son. We stayed at this old fascist building in the Mitte district which's become one of the hippest neighborhood in Berlin. We chose the 2-bedroom loft which is basically a 280 square-meter, fully equipped loft. It is just so beatifull. The living room is so big and georgous, perfectly decorated and equipped...

When you would ask me if I would like a membersclub hotel I would say "no" because I like places which are open for everybody but I really liked my stay at Sohphouse Berlin. I booked my room for EUR 215 for a night (sometimes the same room would cost EUR 2.000). The room was very luxerous with one of...

We went there to have dinner. The service was great and the food was delicious. We were very pleased! Worth to go back. There is a nice vibe in the restaurant. We had the bolognese, steak, pizza and seafood pasta. All dishes taste delicious. We were not disappointed!!

A great hotel with access to a fabulous private members club. The rooms are great, the food is absolutely top notch and the staff are cool without being cold. From the Damien Hirst in the lobby, to the rooftop pool, it's all quality.

I have been on a business event at the second floor and service has been very inattentive to the point that I had to wait for over 30 minutes to get a gin and tonic. One has to say as well that the bar was very understaffed for the kind of event.

Very comfortable room. Very tastefully furnished in the Soho House style. Felt like home. Nice size room, big spacious bathroom with a fantastic array of Cow Shed shampoo, conditioner, shower get etc etc etc. The only downside it that I could not work out how to turn the lights off totally so slept with then on albeit at a very...

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
