Stayed as a couple in February 2014. Booked as a package with flights from London Luton (EasyJet). Room only, stayed for 3 nights. This was our first trip to Berlin and overall the Leonardo Hotel was excellent value for money, in a good location with excellent transport links. Room The room was a double facing out onto Wilmersdorfer Strasse. The...

This was one of the few hotels that actually knew what air conditioning was-- for these spoiled Americans. It was hot out and it was nice to be able to cool down to 70 degrees or lower, if we wanted. The location was close to the subway and the staff was very helpful.

My daughter and I spent 2 nights at the Leonardo for a short city break. It was a basic hotel, but clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect, being only a few metres from the Metro but just off the main street, meaning it was quiet at night. This is a priority for us when having a city break....

A modern, well priced hotel, situated near to the Deutsche Opera, who can show more expensive and higher rated hotels, what service is all about. From the reception staff, to the breakfast room, and house keeping, everyone in this hotel goes the extra distance to make their guests have an enjoyable stay. Great breakfast, well appointed modern, clean, and comfortable...

The room was ok, reasonably clean. Reception was a bit slow and distracted, did not seem very concerned with guests. However, very good cost benefit -very good price booking more than 3 months in advance, 2 minutes walking from a tube station and 1hour free wireless in the Room.

Firstly Berlin is a must do at Christmas. The hotel was spotless with very comfortable spacious rooms. The price was superb for the standard of service and room. Breakfast was also included in our stay and it too was excellent each morning. Location just next to underground makes it very accessible, it is a short journey to city center but...

I have to say it is a great hotel! Good location (1min from metro staton, close to the city centre), nice&clean room, friendly stuff. Even though we did not have breakfast, supermarkets and restaurants are just steps away from the hotel. I recommend this for everyone!

I had 1 night to stay there-woman on her own. When entering the small nice lobby I felt almost at home and the stuff was very nice and helpful! They even sold train ticket which was great for me and helped with all my questions. I received a junior suit which was cozy and welcoming. I got a corner room,...

Great modern hotel with large rooms. Excellent location only minutes away form the subway. There is a lovely patisserie across the road with very reasonably priced food highly recommended for breakfast. The staff were helpful. We were able to check in a few hours earlier which was a relief. For once the room actually looks like the pictures on the...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
