We just spent 3 nights in the Circus hotel in Berlin. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the street. Room was extremely quiet with triple pane windows Showers was outstanding Great and friendly staff Highly recommend
Great hotel and experience. The location was wonderful, we had a lovely room overlooking the hotel courtyard, there is a nice bar in the hotel, and the staff was incredible. Most of the staff spoke amazing English (one of the staff members was from St. Louis) and they catered to our every need. We stated one morning that our hotel room was hot and they immediately delivered a fan to our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Short business stay with WOW effect. 2nd time at the Circus Hotel. Got an upgrade (beautiful room on 4th floor). Room was ready before 15:00, which was excellent, as I arrived after a very early morning getup.... . Sooo happy! Breakfast sumptuous, great choice, lovely garden! Will definitely come back! PS. Despite heat (40 degrees outside), temperature inside the rooms perfect. What more can you want?
We stayed 5 nights at the Circus Hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay. We had a small room on the 4th floor and we loved its design — great lighting and comfortable bed. At first, we were concerned about street noises since our room was on the street side. However, it was not an issue when our windows were closed. Also, the weather was unusually cool during our stay. In hot weather, our small, well appointed room may not have been as enjoyable without a good air conditioning system that the hotel is lacking. We arrived by car at the hotel and decided to park it at the garage which is about 4-5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel only charges 15 euros/day. We walked a lot and also used all public transportations offered in Berlin (metro, tram and bus). For breakfast, we used 3 different formulas and we enjoyed each: 1. Breakfast at the hotel — variety of offerings and table service. 2. Buffet (all you can eat) across the street at the Circus Hostel. This is a great deal for 6 euros 3. Grocery store on Torstrasse that serves delicious breads, croissants, fruits and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. They have sitting outside as well as inside the store. This turned out to be our favorite spot for breakfast Finally, we loved the location of the hotel with easy access to different parts of the city and great restaurants right in the neighborhood. MountRaw, Salamat and Chelany were some of our favorites.…
We stayed in a small room, which was perfect for us. (Two people, close friends, we shared the double bed) The style and decor of the entire hotel is stunning, everything is very clean, and the staff is always very friendly and ready to help you with all kinds issues. There also is a rooftop terrace which is a good spot to watch the sunset over the city. Also the location is excellent. You can reach every point of the city very easily and fast through public transport since the next Tram and U-Bahn station are right outside the front door. There is also a program which the Hotel offers, including the "Behind the curtain program". We went on the tour that was offered the day we arrived (a walk through the neighborhood through the eyes of the author Isherwood) and it was absolutely amazing, the best tour I've ever been on. Overall, the next time i go to Berlin I will definitly choose the Circus again, even though I might try the Hostel this time, since I'm on a budget.…
spent 3 night at the Circus hotel whilst on a city break. Cannot say enough good things about the place. From the quirky rooms to the honesty bar, to the staff and the location, all get 10/10 - I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone, it is one of the best I have stayed in when it comes to city breaks.
What a fabulous hotel. Truly unique with ultra friendly staff. Loved the little courtyard garden for both breakfast and beers in the evening, as well as the rooftop terrace. Rooms facing the street may be a bit noisy at night but nothing takes away from the stay we enjoyed here. Will definitely be back soon
Stayed in apartment 4 which is perfect for family or 2 couples as plenty space and great facilities. Breakfast was excellent and every member of staff was very friendly and helpful. The location for visiting Berlin is fantastic, but this is a busy area so could be noisy. Highly recommended!!
Great location, great vibe, nice people and a well designed room with 2 USB sockets. My stay was great and I recommend the Circus Hotel. You can hear the tram at night. It didn’t bother me but if you’re sensitive to noise you might want to ask for a quiet room.
Handy location with the cafes/restaurants and public transport right outside the door. Lots of nice touches and quirks about the room and building generally. The staff were excellent, they could not have been any more helpful!
