The hotel is very well located, not so far from the highights of Berlin. Underground station and bus station are just about 5 minutes away. We asked for 3 beds and we got them! ( not 2 beds and sofa!). Breakfast was also good, but we were quite disappointed with wifi which was realy poor:-( I don't expect that anywhere...

The room was fine - rather warm, but that seems to be a "thing" in Germany. Bit of a trot to get to it, especially with luggage. Down a lift, through the breakfast room, four or five sets of doors, past the left luggage lockers, up another lift, through another set of doors... Keeps you fit though. Staff were helpful...

Nice hotel in the city center area (about 35 minutes walking time to the Brandenburg Gate) Cleanness 7.5 out of 10, the rooms need a little refurbish. The rooms aren't that big and the furniture is at a minimum. What I didn't enjoy: the pillows, they were very soft. The staff is friendly and speaks English.

Upon arriving at the hotel the staff were helpful and friendly. We entered our room to discover that we had 2 single beds. I asked the staff about it and they said double beds were a different room and I should ask again in the morning. When I asked the morning staff if any double rooms available they were quiet...

This hotel was a good place to base our stay in Berlin. Conveniently located next to an underground station, for us, it wasn't a long walk to the centre but I could see others preferring to use the underground which is easy just like the rest of Germany. We did not have breakfast here but you could decide daily and...

We stayed here for 3 nights during Christmas. The hotel is clean and the rooms are appropriate. However, there is no wifi reception, unless you go to the lobby, the pillows are ridiculously bad and the bed was two twin beds put close together. If you can, try to avoid the room numbers higher than X2X, for example 524, as...

we booked this Best Western through a travel agent. We arrived early in the day and was told our rooms were not ready, but we were able to put our luggage in lockers by the breakfast rooms for a refunded euro. The staff were welcoming and there was always someone on the desk. The bar area was not huge or...

I have just stayed in this hotel for a long weekend with my friends. It is a great location for the Christmas markets and shops. The room was cleaned daily and for the price I could not complain. The staff were friendly and happy to help. Breakfast is extra but there is a lovely cafe over the road. For sightseeing...

Had a fantastic stay, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was warm, clean and very modern with everything you need. Would definitely recommend, and would revisit. Breakfast was great, a wide range and all fresh and was very well presented.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
