They made some rooms in an old building for hotel rooms / apartments. The location is very good...close the the subway which will take you everywhere, Don't expect a restaurant there...but you can have breakfast next door and everywhere very cheap. Rooms at the street side can be boisy..you are in the middle of nightlife there so bars and restaurants...

I was booked to stay at this hotel from Tues 20th Aug - Sunday 25th Aug, but it was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish. I arrived at the hotel at 11.30 pm as I'd had a night flight and the first problem was, there is a back and front entrance, but this isn't explained in the hotel information,...

My husband and I stay at Pension Michele for 3 nights. The location is very convenient, which is only 3 minutes away from U-Bahn Nollendorfplatz. Lucky us, we found the free street parking nearby. The lady at the front desk is very nice. The working hour of the reception is from 10am-10pm. Our room was big and bright. There are...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in May. The rooms are nice and quiet given the location right above the restraunts and cafes of Winterfeldplatz. Our room looked out over the plaza, which was just beautiful with the markets set up on a clear spring Saturday. Good value for the location too and the desk staff were...

Near metro-station, KaDeWE and ku´damm shoppingstreet. Hotel (Pensionat was quite modest. Reception was opened from 10 (11) am to 9 pm. No breakfast-service but nearby was several. Poor soundbroofing, noice from street and corridor was a bit disturbing.

Stayed for a weekend in late January. Reception usually closes by 8 but they stayed there until 11.30 for us. OK room - very fast free wifi. Warm on a very cold weekend. In a great old pre-war building, unusual as almost everything else is post 45. Nice area with lots of restaurants & about 3 minutes from the metro....

Previous review said that they don't accept credit cards. They did for me ! Great LOCATION near Nollendorfplatrz ubahn - and I didn't see any other pensions/hotels around that area. An easy walk towards the centre. Big, clean rooms. A lot of bars and restaurants around giving a small amount of noise, but wasn't a problem. Try the Turkish cafe...

We paid 545 euro (!) for 5 nights (20-25 September 2010) for a double bed, an exorbitant price for a medium range pension. Do not take seriously the word "hotel". Just a euphemism. Service elementary and the staff with poor English. The place clean, the room simple but spacious, the area very nice and convenient. A good bargain for 40-55...

1) the location - is prefect, 2 mins to a U-bahn stations connect you to 4 different U-bahn lines. There is a Canadian food place call Tim's cafe right down stair of the hotel, the breakfast there is super, big portion and not so expensive compare to the city center. The Indian food opposite the street is also very nice...

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
