What a great little hotel! Clean, good size room for 3 adults and really close to public transportation. Great little restaurants nearby but walk to Potsdamaer Platz was easy. Staff was so nice and helpful with getting bus/metro day passes and anything else we had questions about. We did not eat breakfast here but was busy with guests when we... More

Not located at the heart of Berlin but really close by local buses and metro. New, clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds. We had a triple room and there was more than enough space for the three of us. Amazing shower, powerful with hot water all the time. Hairdryer surprisingly really strong. There is no need bringing your own as usually.... More

Very friendly and efficient staff. Clean modern hotel. Clean, comfortable and well maintained room. My family and I arrived very late as our flight was two hours late. The young man on duty at the desk was so welcoming and friendly. The beds were the most comfortable I have EVER slept in. Fabulously comfortable pillows (and plenty of extras available.... More

The hotel is all slick modernity, black and white and anthracite design. Fine breakfast. What I did not like much was the very very big windowns facing the very busy street and just above a busy bus stop. If you close the windows, you cannot hear much of the traffic noise except for the Saturday night and morning hours when... More

Had two nights at Lindemanns! Fine place with big comfortable rooms and a very nice lobby! Go out and take a walk trough Kreuzberg/Schöneberg, you will like it! 15 min. Walking distance to KaDeWe and Kaiser Wilhelms Memorial church.

Lindemann's is a modern hotel at the edge of Berlin city centre. The hotel has an on premise parking lot for 13 euros a day. That's cheap, compared to other city centre hotels we've been to. Rooms are clean, not very spacious, but just enough for two people. Bathroom ís spacious though, and very clean. Hotel staff are super friendly... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here; it's not the most centrally located hotel but it has excellent public transit routes that are right outside. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to any traveler visiting the city on a budget. You can catch the bus directly out front of the hotel, get off at Potsdamer Plots... More

I picked it as I thought it would be walking distance to/from the Nollendorf/Motzstrasse bars where I knew we'd be spending our evenings. It was, just, but a schlep. Worked ok as quick taxi ride back in the early hours. Other than that, and it's proximity to a U-bahn station, there is little going for the location. A little down-at-heel... More

If you're looking for a modern, comfortable hotel in a convenient location that doesn't break the bank then this is a good choice. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is well-equipped and the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast is of high quality with decent choice.

Thank Andrew J

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
