This hotel is situated in a wonderful location, very near the city center. The hotel was very clean, however the rooms were a bit outdated.,, mainly the bathrooms. Breakfast was average and wifi wasn't very good. The location makes up for any flaws with the rooms.

It doesn't have the most inviting or friendly atmosphere, and the service was just alright (we didn't experience merriment or the friendliness mentioned in other reviews! Unlucky, I guess, or different staff on a different day). Still, questions were answered and recommendations given, and one of the extra hands in serving our plates was a delightful and peppy man (perhaps...

We decided to eat at the Reichs Kuechenmeister on Easter Sunday due to its outdoor seating and view of the church. The food was superb, large portions and very tasty and tender. we all had pork dishes. Our Waiter Jürgen was excellent, spoke excellent English and was engaging and had a great sense of humor. a very enjoyable and memorable...

We did not stay at the hotel, but had the great experience of dining at the restaurant. The food was delicious. On a recommendation from our waiter Herr Tavillo and from the gentleman dining there in the table next to us, we ordered on of the pizza's for an appetizer. It was fantastic. It was more than a standard pizza....

We stayed here in March 2014 and this hotel is showing its age. The lobby is small and free internet is only available in the lobby. The beds were horrible....saggy and lumpy mattresses. They need to be replaced. The curtains in the room looked so dingy, like they'd never been washed. Bathroom was fine. Breakfast was rather simplistic compared to...

We booked a mixture of single and double rooms for our 5 guests when we visited Rothenburg at Christmas. Reasonable price for basic but cosy rooms in the main hotel building. The resturant serves good traditional german dishes as well as quality menus including Pizza soups etc. good breakfast and jolly bar atmosphere. This hotel is right in the center...

We stayed in this hotel as a family with teenagers. We got two double rooms, which was perfect because it was such a great price. We loved the hotel, the rooms were a decent size (considering we were in a Medieval Village). It was clean and comfortable. Our room even had a balcony where we enjoyed a bottle of wine....

Great location. Friendly staff. Cosy "Weinstube" at the hotel. And the food in the restaurant is exellent. Would definately stat heretter again. BR Norwegian couple

We were booked into this hotel for 2 nights. From the outside it's extremely pretty, as many of the hotels in Rothenburg are. Inside the main building is very characterful, traditional and old with beautiful wood carvings, old weathered doors and stained glass. The hotel has two parts to it. The main building and the annex. The annex is just...

With a beautifully central location (and a car park) this hotel is a great overnight place in Rothenberg. The room was rather dated but clean and well equipped. The view of the church was breathtaking. The basement bar was authentic and was busy with locals (and friendly)well into the small hours.
