We stayed one night here recently on a tour arranged by Viator, which was quite expensive. This was not the hotel nominated in the trip details provided when booked nor was it a hotel of a similar standard. It is really a B and B. We did have a room in the main house and the location is good.WiFi is good too.... More

Stay: 1 night in June 2014. Staff: English-speaking. Very friendly. Room: Double bed, on 2nd floor. Very quiet for sleep quality. Bathroom: Stand-alone bath. Amenities: Smallish LCD TV. WiFi: Worked fine (no blocking). Breakfast: Good value "all you can eat" buffet (no hot dishes). Location: Very handy for walking around the old city. Guest-house style accommodation at a good price,... More

I arrived on a tour arranged by Viator, and I could not have been more disappointed! Maybe they overbooked the hotel? I was given keys to what they told me was the lovely family cottage. I walked to the back of the property seeing unkept, dirty, broken lawn furniture...and I should have turned around and ran, but I'm an optimist,... More

On arrival we were just given 1 key and not given any assistance or shown to our room. It required a walk of 30 meters in the open, negotiating several steps and unlocking then locking 3 doors each time. Great fun with heavy suitcases. This had to be negotiated every time we used the front door, reception and breakfast. The... More

I will not comment myself. I write down the quotation of the guest they stayed the next day in the guest house traveling with the same company like you: Awesome place to stay! Had such a good time and experience here! The hotel was something out of a fairy tale. Jeff USA What a lovely stay we had! Our accommodation... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel. It's a small place, but very pleasant and quiet. The place was clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast adequate ( typical german fare). The Lady running the place offered and fixed my husband scrambled eggs. We liked the fact that you had to keep the key with you to let... More

A bit of a walk from the main town area. Would have chosen a more central place but still manageable. Family room. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast is dismal. Only cold stuff. Place has no lift so if u have trouble w stairs dont choose the top floors. There is a nice park near the old town walls. Great... More

Stayed 3 nights recently and loved it. The day in Rothenburg could feel like Disneyland because lots of buses just come for the day, so we were very glad to stay overnight, we had the town for ourself. Hotel is very conveniently located inside the walls. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast could be improved with more homemade, but was correct.... More

I have now stayed at the hotel three times and each time was better than the first. The owner and her staff are extremely accommodating to a guest's every need. Their knowledge of the city and its highlights make your stay in the town inviting and begging you to return to keep exploring this lovely little town. It's location within... More

“If you must stay don't get the rooms in the backyard, and book direct, When reception was asked they inferred that other bookings (like ours) are given low priority or bookings canceled if a better booking comes in. It did not matter that it was booked 2 months prior. There is much better value uptown.”
