We stayed more than once in this hotel, last time this month, and enjoyed all our stays there. The service is great, the staff is very helpful and attentive, but our special thanks go to the restaurant personnel who make us feel really welcome every time. The rooms are nicely designed, very comfortable, clean and spacey. Would certainly recommend this...

This is a very nice hotel, with a convenient parking garage right behind it. The staff is very friendly, helping us with dinner reservations (a must in Augsburg, all the restaurants we walked by were very full). The told us that they were giving us a room on the top floor, making it seem special. However the only windows are...

Had an excellent stay at Augsburg, the room was very clean with many pleasant little touches, the quality of the accommodation exceeded expectation and the large airy room was silent and well ventilated. The bar service was very good with an outside seating area that afforded a European feel to the experience. Breakfast was comprehensive with a range of items...

The staff at this hotel, especially in the bar, go that extra mile for their customers - how refreshing. Will stay here for sure when I visit Augsburg again. They cater for all nationalities, speak perfect English and smile.... A pleasure to be here!

The hotel has a fantastic location along the emblematic main street (Maximlianstrasse). Perfect for walking to nearly all interesting sights. It is recently totally restored. We had a rather big executive room, the room was nice, but the bathroom very nice. Some noise from the street in the evneing, but if you close the windows, no problem.Downstairs it was a...

An excellent 4* hotel. Much better service, cleaner, interesting decoration than many 5 stars I stayed in Europe. Good breakfast as well. The receptionists very helpful, doing enthusiastically their work. Very pleasant hotel indeed.

Having stayed in 2 hotels in Germany prior to arriving in this one, I was extremely pleased by the warm welcome and quality of service here. The downfall of the last two hotels we stayed at was the incredibly cold and unfriendly reception staff who were often unwilling to help. That made this hotel a breath of fresh air! The...

This large modern hotel has a prime location in the centre of town on the Maximilianstrasse. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, helping us with our luggage from the car to the room, and providing us useful information about the hotel and the sights of the town. The (executive) room was superb and exceeded our expectations. The self-service breakfast...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With a stunning history going back over 500 years the Steigenberger Hotel Drei Mohren is one of the most traditional hotels in Germany. As the place to be it is located on the historic and glamorous boulevard of Augsburg, the Maximilianstraße. Also the city of Augsburg has a long history going back over 2000 years: stretching from the Romans to the era of the textile industry, through to the Augsburg Puppenkiste puppet theater and Bertold Brecht, who attended high school here. The Fuggerei and the main train station both take approx. 14 minutes to walk to, while the Town Hall Square and Perlachturm tower can be reached in about 5 minutes. The 131 air-conditioned rooms are furnished in an elegant style and have a size from 20 sqm to 83 sqm. Choose between the categories Standard, Superior, Executive or Suite. In addition the hotel offers also a barrier-free room as well as allergic-rooms and apartments for longer stays equipped with a small kitchen. The culinary highlight of the hotel is the Gourmet Restaurant Sartory. Based on the french cuisine executive chef and host Simon Lang knows how to create culinary highlights combined with an exclusive selection of wine. The restaurant MAXIMILIAN’S offers you a variety of regional and international delicacies. The open kitchen and the modern atmosphere, both together with its extensive wine selection will invite you to linger. Feel free to enjoy our terrace during summer evenings while having a spectacular view on the historic Schaezlerpalais or the Maximilianstraße. The bar 3M with its fine cocktails, regional spirits, nonalcoholic refreshments and typical bar food is a special place to meet downtown. There are twelve variable function rooms from 26 sqm to 538 sqm with a total space of over 1000 sqm. Several foyers and a terrace in the courtyard complement the event part. Our 360 sqm Day SPA Relax Max with an aroma-sole-steambath, a biological sauna, a Finnish sauna and a room for relaxation is the ideal place for recreation. A fitness room and a separate ladies sauna are also part of this oriental designed area. ... more   less
