The hotel has no parking lot and everywhere around is payed parking (coins). It's in fact a youth hotel, so not a great option for family traveling with a small child, although they did provide a cot free of charge.

Let’s start with ‘the good’ When we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly host and the check-in was handled swiftly. This hostel is clean and that’s always a good start... ‘the bad’ It was not announced that dinner was ‘veggie night’. This came as a surprise in the country known for ‘bratwurst und schnitzel’. “Well ok veggie it is”. ‘the ugly’ You are welcomed with a sheet of paper full of ‘rules of the house’. You get 2 showers and 2 toilets for one floor! Handy if you are one large group that has to leave early. Oh, the showers can’t be locked , handy in times of “leaving Neverland”. The beds are more look alike than real beds. Matrasses are wafer thin, these are placed on rock solid wooden planks. The atmosphere is ‘vintage Russia’ to put it mildly. Over the last years we stayed in several youth hostels and this was one of the worst. We are not spoiled but minimal comfort should be provided in every hostel. ‘Clean is not enough in 2019’

Very nice budget accommodation; I like the small dorm size (only 4). The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hostel is very clean. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruits and cereals.

I stayed in the hostel for one night with my family. It was a very pleasant experience. Staff is very nice and gives all the information before you even ask, everything is very clean and the "system" is excellent. Everything you need from a hostel! So I recommend it to everyone who needs to stay in the area. Just lacks some "added value treats" to get a full five star from me :)

Being a hostel , me and my husband were surprised that the place was quiet at night, maybe not a lot of backpackers that night. The place is clean, room is very basic , bathroom is small , good for spending a night. Tanya, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is average, but you cannot beat the price for the night.
