Clean and decent hotel. The hotel,is a fairly typical Ibis and nothing exceptional and is only a 6 minute walk from the main railway station at Regensburg.

from the station, there is a huge mall with many shops and eateries that you can walk through and buy some supplies if wanted to,eat either if going out for the day somewhere or to take back to the hotel. Hugely convenient for both the Mall and the Hotel.

Very friendly and helpful reception, very varied breakfast - everything fresh and made with love - at the breakfast very helpful lady. Rooms smaller, but nothing was missing, for me a better view of the courtyard, where are the rooms quiet. The appearance of today's difficult time of Covid , all at the highest level. Everything is constantly disinfected, non-contact disinfectant gels everywhere. Beautiful Christmas decorations 🎄🎄🎄and especially the atmosphere, thank you very much 😘❤️‍🩹😘

This is an OK hotel. You get what you expect, a clean room, a comfortable bed, bathroom etc. Location is convenient, just a few minutes from the railway station. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Just dont look for any specific charm or atmosphere.

In the room reservation you need to specify clearly if you want a quiet room.
Most rooms face the main road.. It is really very noisy day and night.
If you need two single bed room, need to specify clearly. Bad news according to the Ibis staff
who confirm that all such rooms are only available facing the main road.
It is quite ridiculous, there are no such rooms in this hotel on the quiet side not facing the main road !!!

There is only bad in the room. I mean the room is only for sleep. No mini refrigerator, no bath materials such as shamphoo etc. The worst Ibis hotel I have ever stayed. Moreover, prices are so high. I really don't like this hotel.

Ok - it's an Ibis - you know what you are getting. This hotel was a short walk from the train station and from the city centre. The rooms were modern and well looked after. There was no noise. I didn't have the breakfast. The staff were excellent and really helpful.

We stayed here the first two weeks of November. This hotel is clean and quiet. We stayed in a room which faces the parking lot. We never heard anyone walking above us or making noise in the rooms next to us.

The bed is queen-sized and has two pillows with a third one packed away above the area where you store your clothes. The pillows are soft and feel like down, but I'm pretty sure they're synthetic and not actual down. I'm a stomach sleeper and had no problem squishing the pillow to my liking. My husband is a back and side sleeper. He used two pillows and they worked well for him. The bed has a big comforter on it and that's it. But it was perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. Though we did open the window to cool down the room before going to sleep. The room does not have any heating controls so you can't turn the heat down. We're from Wisconsin and keep our house colder for sleeping. It's very pleasant in this room while you're awake, but we prefer it colder for sleep. It's also too loud outside to leave the window open. But it's very quiet with it closed.

There are lamps with switches on either side of the bed as well as a small table that you can put things on. There is no clock in this room so make sure you either bring one or plan on using your cell phone or a wake up call as your alarm. There is a cushioned bench against a wall. Next to that is a table that spans the width of the room in front of the window. There is also a chair here and it is a nice place for working on your laptop. There is a small-ish flat screen TV - maybe 27". We never turned it on though, I don't know what channels are available. There are no dressers in the room, but there are many cubbyholes to put your clothes in, and some hangers for hanging up your clothes.

The bathroom has a shower with good water pressure. There is a gel soap in the shower that can be used as a shower gel and shampoo. This same soap is by the sink. I only used it to wash my hands as I brought my own shampoo and shower soap. The bathroom only has two bath towels. Bring your own washrags and hand towels. The toilet paper is similar to the type of paper toweling you find in gas station bathrooms. It's really rough. But usable. First world problems...

There is free wifi in the rooms but it is really slow. If all you're going to do is check email, it's passable. If you're going to do anything else, it gets annoying quickly. Which I suppose is the point. We ended up buying the upgraded wifi that is not bandwidth throttled. It's €6 for a day and €19 for 7 days. You can attach 3 devices at a time to that paid service. We were able to upload pictures, watch Facebook videos, and stream Netflix without issue.

There is a continental breakfast every day from 6:30am - 10:30am. It is very good. Eggs, yogurt, meats, breads, fruits, juice, coffee. It's very tasty and filling.

The hotel is across the street from the mall, walking distance from downtown, and even closer walking distance to the train station.

It's a nice hotel. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is located within a short walking distance (400 meters) from the Altstadt (Old city). Regensburg has the largest altstadt that I've ever experienced. I've been to many European cities. Across the street from the hotel is a large shopping mall with a large grocery store. I only found one other grocery store (in the cellar of the Kaufhof store) so it's a good place to get small food and other items. The hotel is also a 3-minute walk from the main train station.
The hotel is modern, up-to-date with very friendly personnel. Rooms were clean, bathroom fully stocked with a shower and basic items you would expect to include a hair dryer. Only problem experienced were warm rooms. Temperatures were in the 70s outside and I think it was too early in the season for the air conditioning to be working so I opened the window. Our room was just outside a four-way traffic light so the cars can be noisy at night.

All in all the hotel is a great stay at a great price. Would recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel.

Ideally located close to the central train station and across the street from a terrific shopping mall, this Ibis is a good choice when visiting Regensburg. The Altstadt is a 15 minute walk away. Friendly service, large breakfast room and nice bar area.

we stayed for 2 nights. 10 minutes walk from the old city. The room is a typical Ibis: clean and well organized. Bed comfortable and good shower. Parking is 7 euro per night. Breakfast is a bit expensive but there are plenty bakeries just outside the hotel. Friendly staff. good value for money.
