The hotel is located in the center of the old town, very good shopping and a trip around Excellent breakfast. Do not let the soaps and shampoos, have to bring or buy. Large rooms, cozy and warm with very cold outside. Write site parking but that it is a place only for 4 cars, parking fee is 2 minutes walk...

This turned into a gem of a place to stay in the heart of the Altstadt of Regensburg. We stayed in the Kreuzsaal apartment (room 11)for one night, for my husband, myself and our teenage daughter. The apartment was HUGE - there was a substantial living room, dining room, full kitchen, and bedroom all in one very spacious room. I...

we stayed here 5 nights and enjoyed the spaciousness of this boutique hotel room. It's a small hotel in a large medieval building updated tastefully and central located. The breakfast in their cafe is traditional, with bread, cheese, coffee, muesli, fruit, juice, etc. It's a great start to a day walking right out to the cobble stone pavements, where one...

What a pleasure to be in a spacious, cool room with natural fabrics and materials and a window that opens properly. As other reviewers has noted, in some ways this feels more like a serviced apartment – you take breakfast in the cafe next door, for example. The building is of considerable historic interest and very centrally located, an easy...

I had booked a studio apartment tather than a hotel room in order to have a little more space and to have a washer/dryer midway through our Europe vacation. I was shocked when we were led to a huge apartment that was over 1,000 square feet and very modern, clean and nicely decorated. We did not spend a lot of...

What a great location in the middle of the old town portion of Regensberg. We parked our car inside the goldener's own plaza for the night no charge. Rooms are updated and Bavarian clean. The staff was outstanding.

- Kind and warm staffs - Huge space to feel at home - Well decorated rooms - Open kitchen with sun light - Separated bathtub and shower booth - Nice view of Haidplatz I mean I just love this place! The Kaisersuite I've stayed should be considered like a serviced apartment, rather than a hotel room. You feel more like...

We had a clean comfortable, large room, overlooking the courtyard rather than the square. It would have been quiet except that you can hear the sound of anyone wearing clip-cloppy shoes walking back and forth in the foyer and the passageways. However, this was my only complaint. Breakfast in the adjoining café was good, there is free Wi-Fi and the...

Spent two nights during our anniversary trip. The staff brought us a glass of sparkling wine to help us celebrate. So nice. The room was large, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was also large with a great shower. The location cannot be beat. We walked from and to the train station and all over town. The river was less than...

Enjoyed a pleasant stay here for a week. Location is in a lively square area ideal for restaurants, bars, shops and sightseeing with the Dom and river close by. The hotel is situated within a magnificent historic building with wide corridors. Our spotlessly clean room was bright, spacious and elegantly decorated in a classical style with chandeliers. The bathroom was...

“If you are looking for a truly dark room in which to sleep, choose rooms #1 or #4. Both have heavy drapes that when closed, block all daylight from leaking in. If you are traveling with merely a friend and are looking for 2 separate beds, select room #9. It has 2 twin beds, an AWESOME closet, and 2 separate chairs in which to sit and relax to watch tv. And, if you want a guarantee of access to WiFi (without being booted off) choose room #7...I think the router is closest in location.”
