With a very wonderful feel of traditional German culture and architecture, this gasthaus was a highlight of our visit to Nuremberg Germany. The food, service, and guest rooms were splendid! As clean as they come and the staff,... I wish I could find the same level of excellence everywhere, just outstanding! If I get the chance to return to Nuremberg... More

Located in the heart of the city, across from the train station, next to a beautiful section of stores all who have handmade German goods, walking to all of the sites (old & new) of Nuremberg. The room was comfy and clean, the view of the busy street below gave an awesome authentic feel of being in Germany. Great breakfast... More

we have stayed in the hotel for one night, great location: in the old city and in the close proximity to train station. short ride from the airport. Room is spacious, beds are comfy, bathroom is very new and spotless. breakfast was amazing, loved the restaurant downstairs. no elevator, though, but it would be rare for the old building -... More

My wife and I stayed at an air bnb property near here. We stopped in for three evenings for a Paulaner beer on our way home from the Christmas Market. The first night we stayed our outdoor waiter helped us to find a movie theater and served us quite well. It was not very cold and it was nice to... More

We liked that this hotel is on top of a popular bar and restaurant right at the beginning of a major street in the old city center. The friendly lady tending the bar checked us in. Very efficient. The room was clean, cozy and modern. Everything worked. We were able to find parking on the street in front. And we... More

The Gasthaus is within easy walking distance of not only the train station but also the old city and castle as well. We arrived about a half hour before check in and the rooms weren't ready yet so we were asked to wait in the Restaurant and have some drinks on them. This was indicative of the great service that... We loved our stay here. It is within steps of the train station and pedestrian zone. Breakfast is GREAT! Good..but pretty caloric...food. Terrific place for lunch or afternoon beer. Owners and staff are very friendly. There's no elevator but one of the staff will take your bag up for you.

Great place to stay. Room was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and very helpful with advice on how to get to places. The traditional food was delicious, especially the Nuremberg sausages. It is situated next to the main rail station which made it extremely easy to get to. It is at the edge of the old town so made... More

The hotel is nicely situated next to the main rail station (within a few steps). The food in the restaurant is very good (had the pork). However, you should be warned that there is no elevator at all! The rooms start on the 3rd floor, so you have to lug your suitcases up 4 flights of spiral stairs. If you... More

We came here to eat and I love places like this, old school cool Great beer menu, friendly staff and very traditional food. The German kitchen is not for the faint hearted however, lots of pork and dumplings, heavy food. But for tired travellers this place does what places like this have done for centuries. They feed you, quench your... More
