If you are traveling on a budget, this hotel is for you. It has all the basic things you need in a hotel in a good location. About 10 minute walk from the main station, the old town of is also easily accessible by foot and nearby s-bahn and u-bahn station to connect to the nearby towns. Fair enough.

Hotel located just few minutes from old city. There is a private parking costs 9 euro per day and free WiFi. Despite this i could not recommend to stay here - the hotel is old and not pleasant.

I did a Euro railing trip round Germany in May 2011, and my plan was to stay in 3 star hotels. I booked the Astoria Hotel, in Nurnberg, listed as a 3 star. Overall, it felt that this was a 2 star hotel, which had managed to get a 3 star rating. There was nothing wrong with it, but the...

I paid 40 euro for a night, and received a perfectly good room for it, with a good-sized bathroom. In this price category, this hotel exceeded my expectations. It is just a short walk from the railwaystation, and just outside the city walls, which means the centre is also at walking distance. U-bahn is very close. It is located in...

This hotel is located near the station, and is close to one of the city gates for access to old town. However, when we got there there was some very heavy constuction next door. The contruction was an eyesore, but otherwise not a real problem. The room was ok, and was clean. It wasn't the cheapest place we stayed, but...

Short walk from the trainstation and old town city center. No frills room. COMFY beds, medium size bathroom. TV & remote. Free WiFi for your laptop. Nice breakfast selection. Accomidating staff. Went with sisters for birthday weekend and enjoyed myself. I wouldn't want to hang out in the hotel itself very long, but that's not why you are there anyways....

We booked a night at the Astoria for 40 Euros for a double room - and knew it wasn't excactly top class. But we were positively surprised. The hotel is clean enough, but a bit old and worn-out. The lobby is kind of charming that way, but the rooms aren't really cozy. However – they are suitable for a couple...

We stayed in the Hotel Astoria 2 nights. It was very clean and comfortable....very European. It was also right across the street from the Aldstadt (Old Town), so it was convenient to the heart of Nurnberg. The staff was very accomodating and the breakfast was inexpensive and good. We enjoyed our stay here. Parking is a problem...they do have spots...

Spent one night in this hotel. Room was decently furnished, We had a non AC room but were given a tripped out glow in the dark fan which served its purpose to some extent. The bathroom was freakishly small. Location wise it was close to the station but a short walk from the main tourist area.
