Really nice hostel, equipped with bars and vending machines. Clean room. Good breakfast. Suggestive building, close to historical castel. Short walk to the city center. Magic atmosphere in the city, especially in Christmas time. I highly recommend it! :)

Nice hostel in castle area, so nice and good views. 5 minuts walking to city center. Recepcionist aren't so kind, just a woman in afternoon shifts was helpful. Buffet breakfast was ok, but not delicius. We have a private room for 2 pax in 7th floor, lovely! Beautiful building

No better way to experience history than to sleep in it! Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, pricing that can't be beat, and a nice breakfast. All in all, you get so much more than you pay for (but you do miss out on some of the more luxurious aspects of a hotel stay--totally worth it in my opinion).

Good. Beautiful building, great location. Bad. People stay in hostels because they do not know how to behave in a hotel. This is a lawless place where noise and doorbanging is 24/7 and where the cleaner and the maintanance man use their own keys to open your door at 08.00 while you are still in bed. Ugly. If you book...

I stayed here one night while visiting the city. Very good experience and I would stay here again. It is located in the walled city and within walking distance of many things. They were extremely helpful when I had questions

Perfect location in the old town, in an old annex of the castle, 5 minutes away from the castle itself and 5 minutes from the main square. We had the chance to sleep in a 4 bedroom room in the tower, with private bathroom and amazing view over the city and the castle. Very clean, new furniture and unexpectedly quiet...

I have stayed in numerous hostels - but this one remains the most favorite in my memory. It's a real castle wall converted into a hostel, and like everything German, was spanking clean and spotless, great breakfast, well appointed (shared) bathrooms and really friendly staff. My son and I stayed in a 2-bed room right on the top floor with...

It was impressive to see such a magnificent old castle having a modern cozy interior. The rooms were simple but functional and clean. The shower was not very good, sometimes it only had medium cold water. The breakfast was a little bit weird for my brazilian taste, but I guess it was not the hostels fault Germans like to eat...

Myself, my husband and two friends stayed here, in a shared room, for one night whilst travelling Germany. The building from the outside is amazing to look at and the modern interior is very impressive. Our room was huge with a spacey bathroom too. We were on floor five so the view was spectacular as the the hostel is at...

This place would be great... terrific location, clean, warm, convenient... if I had not paid 180 euros a night for a youth hostel where you have to make your own bed. It seems unimaginable that a youth hostel should cost this much. I see it listed online "from 28 euros" and at that price this place would be great.
