We stayed at the Deutscher Kaiser for several nights in December, 2014 prior to our Viking River Cruise. The staff was helpful and attentive, the room was comfortable and clean and it included a nice breakfast. We booked the hotel without knowing the location of the XMAS markets and it turned out to be perfect, on the edge of the...

On our last night in Germany, we stayed one night in a suite at the Deutscher Kaiser and it was positively lovely. The staff was wonderful - helpful and informative. We received a complimentary bottle of red wine, fruit, cookies...big fluffy robes and slippers, very comfy beds, a big soaking tub (which I took full advantage of, as the weather...

We happened upon this hotel when our reservations for another hotel didn't work for us. We stayed for three days and were delighted with our new found hotel. The receptionists were most helpful with accommodations, directions, and suggestions of local places to eat. The location was handy to the train station, shopping, and general launching off spot. The hotel suite...

The place is clean and in the city center. Many restaurants around. I had a big room and the breakfast was really good. The room was better that what I expected from the lobby. Cons: The windows NEEDS an acoustic isolation. A bit expensive for the structure that is.

This hotel is just 400 yards from the main train station along Konigstrasse, which is a great pedestrian walkway into the city. The hotel is in a very old building, but is updated quite nicely inside. There is not much of a lobby, but you don't really need one in the summer since there are so many places to sit...

This is a great inner city hotel and well worth the stay. The service was fantastic and the charm that went with it is great. They was about to start renovations shortly after we left the hotel to restore to the turn of the century charm. The rooms where of reasonable size and comfort. The supplied breakfast(s) are worth extra,...

As soon as you enter the Old Town by Konigstrasse and just before the start of the pedestrian road, you find The Deutscher Kaiser. That location is perfect because you can walk from there to almost all places of interest in Nuremberg. The staff is kind and supportive. Rooms are quite large, well equipped, including free wifi. Breakfast is excellent....

This hotel is oficially ***, but in some ways ****. The reception is the smallest we have ever experienced, but check in was fast and friendly. We had a suite, a small living room, and a bedroom. The furniture was probably old, but they had put white fabric over, so it looked ok. The writing table and the cabinet for...

Dear guest, Thank you very much for appreciating the location, the staff as well as the breakfast at our historical Hotel. In your room we combine original and restored antique furniture ( the closet, an excellent late Biedermeier piece from 1840 as well as the side tables) with contemporary furniture ( the desk) - all done in massive European cherry...

Just had two nights here as a family of five, and thought it was very convenient for exploring the city. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast delicious and varied, and the beds were comfortable! Nuremberg is just outside the door, enjoy!

I will start with breakfast. The breakfasting room had classical European style and an appropriate amount of trademark German kitsch. The buffet featured a large selection of foods, from multiple cold cuts and cheeses, to eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, yogurt and an array of fresh fruits. To drink, one was offered freshly made coffee or tea of nearly every variety....
