A very nice hotel, in a great location. All staff very friendly and helpful. We had a nice room on the 3rd floor very clean and quiet overlooking the garden. The breakfast is very good lots of choice and good quality with good staff. A short walk to the main Christmas Market and lots of good restaurants and cafes, Heilig...

We stayed one night during a visit to the Nuremberg Christmas Market. Good location to walk to the market. Rooms are on several levels. It has an elevator but some of the rooms are up a few steps. Good beds, and a nice size bathroom. The breakfast was great and is a fine way to start the morning.

We stayed for three nights. The room is basic with a comfy bed. The bathroom in tiny. The room was stuffy and warm and I kept opening the windows only to find the staff kept shutting them again. The lift is very slow as there is only one. The breakfast was ok, very German! By far the most outstanding thing...

I have stayed around 20 times at this hotel over roughly the same number of years, and it is still one of my favourite places to stay in Germany. The location is breathtaking, within a few metres of the mediaeval castle walls and the Albrecht Duerer house. Some of the best restaurants and bars in the city can also be...

We stayed here while in Nuremberg and we're not impressed. First off, there was no air conditioning making for uncomfortable sleeping. It was hot and muggy in the room so we had to leave the window open. The problem with this was not only was it not cool enough but it was loud outside and peoples cigarette smoke from outside...

The hotel is located at the foot of the castle next to the Albrecht Duerer Haus. The front door exits toward a large cobblestone courtyard that fills the area between the old city wall, the hotel, as well as the Albrecht Duerer Museum. The space is surrounded by nice restaurants and filled during the early evening bei young and old....

We stayed in this hotel for one night en route to our destination in Italy. The hotel is very well located in the old part of the beautiful city or Nuernberg. The walk to the city center takes 5-10 minutes. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was somewhat aged but clean. There is no air conditioning in the room, in...

Been coming here for well over a decade. Room (rather, suite!) had just been beautifully renovated, well furnished with all trimmings (minibar incl.), sitting corner, fabulous bedding. The bathroom too is a huge improvement! The breakfast needs a special mention: There is literally nothing I could possibly think of, that isn't offered: Starting with croissants and pastries, a variety of...

The hotel is in one of the most interesting parts of the old town: right against the medieval city wall, under the castle, and just about next door to Albrecht Dürer's house. In warm weather, the hotel's pleasant garden is available. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, with excellent English (although they were very patient with my slow...
