We booked this stay because it was close to the central station and it couldnt have been better.
Everything went fine from the check-in process (Automated in the entrance through a machine that activated the cards to enter the rooms) to the cleaning and space in the room, to the location (short walk to station or Stachus).
It went well, i recommend it for quality and prices for sure

We were in Munich for 12 days and we had a fantastic stay at AdvaStay. We had stayed at the Kings hotel around the corner a few times before and were aware of the quality of their hotels and the AdvaStay did not disappoint. We like the flexibility of places that have some cooking options that means you are not tied to eating out all the time, particularly breakfast, saving time and money. Not having to be down in the breakfast room at a particular time and not having cleaning everyday made for a very relaxing stay. Our room had a stove top, which I think you need to request, plus microwave, fridge and sink and a kitchen box of equipment which was a large extra charge. I was not particularly happy for this as it was just a box of cutlery, plates and pans much of which we didn’t use but was missing bowls and glasses which we had to buy from a supermarket (ALDI and REWE a few hundred yards away). The other issue with the kitchenette was just lack of space to do anything.
Apart from that, however, the room was excellent, lovely big comfortable bed and nice bathroom, TV and good WiFi. We like a bit of quiet so opted for the club room at the rear of the building with a Juliet balcony although some rooms have proper seated balconies. We were very close to the main station but could hear no traffic noise. Of course, being near the station meant that we had all transport links on our doorstep including trams 20 and 21 outside the hotel front. The station was very easy to get to and we made good use of the 9 Euro ticket so this was particularly helpful.
The absence of a reception desk, staff always on hand and reliance on automation and apps may not suit everyone. We arrived at gone midnight so was a bit nervous of the automated check in and card creation but this worked well. You do have the best of both worlds though since the sister hotel across the road can help you at any time and were always very helpful and easily contactable by phone (but not by Whats App as they suggest).
Although we only had cleaners in once week there is an Amenity Room in the basement accessible at any time with your card where you can get new towels, toilet rolls etc and also has a washing machine and dryer which is usable for a small charge via a phone app (which I didn’t like). There’s also an American style café next door with direct access from the hotel lobby which did great coffee and food.
We’ve been to Munich many times and we both felt it was one of the best stays we have had and will be booking again probably in December for the markets.

Great stay at Advastay. Perfect location. Close to central train station. The hotel is very close to the transportation options The room has a little kitchenette with a small fridge and microwave. Kind staff. They were very helpful.
There is no reception but check in was very easy . There is a washing machine and a dryer that you can use for a very little price. I will definitely stay there if I come to Munich.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The small kitchenette was very useful for making tea and breakfast in the mornings. The location is good, close to Karlsplatz city gate, so a short walk to the city centre, although the immediate area around the hotel is a bit rough.

The cleaners for our studio unit were meticulous in their cleaning and tidying up the room while we are out. It is a pleasant sight to see our unit is cleaned spick and span on our returns after each day’s of tour.
We stayed in Room 115 for a total of 6 nights in Munich from 1-6 Dec 2022. The check in/out process were fully automated. The computer system at the entrance of the hotel, is pretty laggy and slow. You can get multiple door cards for your stay by keying in your details and request at the automation system. Hardly any staff is seen at the hotel throughout the day except for early morning and evening. The amenities room on level -1 is useful for us to retrieve additional towels/blankets/pillows if necessary, including extra coffee pads and sugar. The dryer and washing machine are located there at a cost of Euros 2.50 and 3.50 respectively.
Because of the full automation system, there seems to be a lack of human touch to this hotel, hence I am giving a four out of 5 star rating.

Deceptive advertising. Room is advertised as having a kitchenette, but you need to pay an extra 38 euros for access to pots and pans to actually use it. The room didn't even have a kettle for boiling water. Location was good, but it's deceptive to advertise access to a kitchenette and then uncharge to actually use the kitchenette. Would be great for individuals traveling with pots and pans.

Dear Guests, thank you very much for your review. This helps us to improve from day to day. We are sorry to hear that especially the use of the kitchenette did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, not all our guests want to make use of the kitchenette. Therefore we do not want to charge every guest for something, only a few guests want to make use of. So we offer the kitchenette for an extra fee and inform our guests about it via info texts and pictures on our website and all platforms. Thank you very much for your understanding. Kind regards Your KING's Team

Hotel was in a great location, about 10 mins walk to Marienplatz and easy access to the central station and underground/trams. The staff were friendly and polite. The room was spacious and clean with a free safe and fridge with coffee and tea facilities. No milk available was a bit of a let down as we had to buy our own and could do with an onsite bar but on the whole we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is ideally located close to the Hautbahnhof and was a lot closer to points of interest than Google maps suggest. The contactless check-in was a novelty, and was really easy and fun.

Our room was lovely with a decent sized and comfy bed, the kitchenette was handy and crockery was dotted around the room's shelves like little pieces of art. The Bathroom was spacious and one of the best hotel bathrooms I've had. Our room overlooked the main road which was noisy with the windows open but fine when shut.

A word of warning though, the elevator is a tad aggressive so don't dilly-dally getting in, I did and was crushed between the doors with a painful blow to the elbow and then whisked off to an unknown floor in pain and confusion. I was fine but just be careful when boarding.

One nice touch are the lockers available for luggage after checkout that operate with your keycard, with the Hautbahnhof less than a 5 minute walk this is definitely an added bonus.

Would I stay in this hotel again? Yes, in a heartbeat. Would I recommend it to friends, family and colleagues? Again, yes without hesitation.

It's easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Munich

Came in for Oktoberfest so rooms were double normal rate. Location is a block from the HBH so super convenient. Clean, modern rooms, great windows so quiet even though busy street.

True contact-less check in and out - there is no front desk or staff. Check yourself in on a tablet in the vestibule, pay, make your own room keys, and then enter the secure door. Card key needed for elevator, stair well and room so even if someone drafted in behind a guest it was still pretty secure. Attached to a cafe that had great breakfast. If you plan to eat there go early! They had a line waiting on the sidewalk for seats every morning.

Another great feature - extra towels and pillows in amenity room in basement and BONUS self laundry for guests!

Very good location, close to the Central Station, walking distance from Marienplatz, supermarkets and restaurants in the neighborhood.
The room is small but cozy. Comfortable bed and good shower.
There's a small kitchen with no supplies. If you really want to cook (that was our case) you have to order a cooking kit with pans, oil, salt and other things for very expensive 38 euros !!
Self check in very simple and quick. But if you need help just contact them (I used the email) and they answer quickly
All in all it was a good experience
