Great location. From the moment I entered all staff were super friendly and welcoming. Lovely decor, Free WiFi. The room was compact but really nice and modern. The bed was very comfortable with the best pillows ever. The bathroom was stylishly appointed with lovely toiletries - spotless.

Breakfast was not self service - orders taken with a wide array of tasty choices. Would definitely go back.

Great service. We stayed for a week in this hotel near the English Garden. It is in the midst of Schwabing, with lots of bars, coffee bars, restaurants, Kebab stores, small bakeries, great second hands stores and for me the best of all, near the English Garden, where you can relax amongst green and lakes, and boat rowing opportunities. Lots of bike trails in the English Garden yet also in Schwabing. Lots of public transport nearby.
The hotel staff were welcoming, and accommodated all our requests in the middle of COVID19 crisis. They are super responsible about it.

The room was large and spacious. Bedding was top.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel the first time so stayed here again 6 years later.
Liked this hotel as it’s small quiet but in a great location.
Staff were helpful & friendly.
Room was warm (which was nice as the weather wasn’t good) spacious, with a balcony.
Many bars and restaurants just around the corner and a lovely 25 min walk into the main town.
If I came to Munich again I would definitely only stay here.

Really happy with the way they dealt with our booking. We had a bit of an issue where our travel agent made an error on the booking but Christina from reservations was amazing and helped resolve a rather stressful situation quickly and efficiently and with a smile. Look forward to heading back there next time we're in munich.

Hotel La Maison is one of the worst experiences I have had with a hotel.  Prior to my arrival I saw a lower selling rate online so I called the hotel to see if they would change my rate to the lower one. After rudely telling me no I received a notification that my card had been charged for the full cost of the stay. I called to notify them that per my booking confirmation I was to pay at check in they need to refund my card immediately.  The rude girl on the phone then proceed to charge my card two more times. The total charges to my card prior to my arrival where $3170, plus international fees and phone calls. After several attempts at resolution and no apologies, one of the staff said we could have free breakfast during our stay, that was the only compensation for this 3 day struggle. Well fast forward to check in.  No greeting or welcome just a cold face telling me breakfast was not included....after a very long conversation and showing email "proof" she says fine and tosses our room keys at us. Fast forward to check out...All breakfast charges were listed on our room bill which also included another guests name, address and telephone number listed at the top. Now I had to spend about 30 mins standing at the check out waiting for the reception to sort it all out. I worked for Marriott for 12 years and I have never experienced any hotel this unorganised and unwilling to admit their mistakes. I have still received no apology, not a single word from the manager...Who I have asked to contact me about 5 times now. The massive charges on my credit card prevented me from being able to accommodate other expenses I have.  It's rediculous that this happened.

Dear kellydrewbradham, First of all I would like to tell you that all our receptionists have run through several trainings before handling with guests. Today I talked to the colleagues Sven, Aylin and Miltiadis. all people you got in touch with. Sven, who talked to you first time, a few days before arrival, told you that unfortunately the booking is not canceble anymore. That was your intention. You found a cheaper rate somewhere online. Already that moment you were upset that we were not „willing to change“ your reservation. But you as a travel manager/ agent should very well know that there are diffrent rates for different periods. For sure OKTOBERFEST is a very special event in munich. To avoid last-minute-cancellations there are strict policies that are mentioned on each booking engine/ website you can find. They are all equal. We reserved the full amount before arrival. We do this to guarantee bookings, to avoid the usage of unvalid creditcards and to avoid no-shows. Yes there happened a fault when sending the money back to your account. They charged you twice. We are very sorry about this. This problem has been solved immediately. On Check-In day, we offered free use of minibar and breakfast. For both rooms. The total amount was around 100,00 € which means nearly 10% discount. We always try to offer a professional and friendly casual service. This is what people like at hotel la maison. If we were not able to fulfill your expectations we are very sorry. Yours sincerely

I staid here on a business trip and had a horrible time. Tiny room, barely enough space to open my carry on. Half closet with little space. Non working safe. Phone died on me. Internet connection not strong enough to work (kept unconnecting). Woman at reception unfriendly when I needed help organizing something. No air conditioning and stinky rooms. Lighting in the bathroom and room horrendous - barely enough light to shave. I paid 185 euros without breakfast for stinky, tiny room that had no internet. Would not recommend to business travelers.

I stayed at Hotel La Maison during my business trip in Munich. My hotel room was tiny, didn't feel comfortable at all. Some of the small bottles in the mini bar were empty... Breakfast was disappointing too, very limited options, not a single fresh fruit or vegetable.

Stayed there one night on a business trip. From the lobby to the rooms, everything has style and class. Especially nice: the wooden floor in the bedroom and the floor heater in the bathroom. My room in the 3rd floor was very quiet (on the backside of the hotel) with a small balcony. The room itself is not very spacious but with the modern furniture it was not too small. If you have lots of luggage, you might have a storage problem. Staff was extremely nice, very helpful and charming. And definite plus: the free wireless internet access!

Quiet, cozy with great ambience. Service was super friendly.

About 3 block walk from the Munchner Freiheit Underground and Bus/Tram station.

Make sure you get a world famous cappuccino from my favorite employee there - superstar Jasmin. She was 'go out of her way' to make an excellent stay.

Room was comfortable, and wifi was great as I was here on business and had several conference calls, web meeting and plenty of email.

Bed was comfortable, good size bathroom with heated floor and towel rack (love that!). Shower is tiny but good hot water.

I booked through expedia / hotels.com and got some nice extra perks (snacks/drinks). They have a full bar with good selection.

No AirCond, but a small fan in the room.

Grumpy old guy rating: Thumbs Up!
