The hotel is in a shady street, the building (not the rooms) are cold and it looks a bit old. But the beds are really nice, big comfy duvets and good wifi. With the right price I would choose it again.

terrible service which is really a shame as the rooms were pretty nice and modern. they are doing a lot of renovating which means that it is pretty noisy and unfortunately...they are missing some details. we booked a three bedroom suite and two of the bedrooms had broken windows.. well, windows with no handles. since there was no handle, you...

Stayed at the Hotel early November for 3 nights in the New Wing. There is also an elevator. The Room was very comfortable although with a double bed somewhat smaller than normal. Wi Fi available only in the Reception. The Breakfast spread was well supplemented with Turkish Tea -- a delight. Conveniently located only a block and a half from...

I and my friends have just spent 3 nights at the Hotel Goethe. I confess after having made my reservation and having read the reviews here I was dreading my stay. However I returned home having had a brilliant few days in Munich and surrounding towns. The hotel is not bad at all. We had room 202, a three bedded...

I've stayed in many hotels in many different countries, and while this hotel is not the absolute worse, it certainly is in the bottom five. First, as other reviews have stated, this hotel is under construction and the noise is constant. There were even construction workers trying to get into my room while I was in there. My room was...

Very old hotel near the central station in a street with a majority of prostitutes and tramps. Small rooms, very noisy. Breakfast is too basic. For 10 euros more, you will definitely find something better. A place to avoid

The room was extremely small and my husband battled to get in and out of the shower. However it was clean and neat and the breakfast was a spread of different choices. Unfortunately it is situated in an area less desirable with strip bars all over and bad characters hanging around. It is very convenient though to get to the...

The hotel is under construction. They should rather focus on upgrading the existing rooms, rather than adding on. The rooms were awful, smelly & dirty. Paint peeling off the walls, curtains hanging off the rails, the a/c & tv didn't work. Most of the plug points didn't work & the carpets were filthy. It's also really noisy. I hardly slept...

The hotel is under construction in a big way! There is scaffolding and a large crane set up in the front of the building. The rooms are in need of major repair. The doorknob to the bathroom came off in my hand, and shower door was broken. The elevator did not work. The hotel is on a busy, loud street....
