Perfect location, walking distance from train station, 10 mins from centre square and shopping. Room itself was ok. Beds were comfortable, but dirty floors underneath. No air-conditioner, and if your room is facing the street you will find it too noisy to keep a window open. We were 3 females and felt just a bit uneasy coming back to our...

Positives: Near city centre and train station, however it was very noisy and hard to sleep at night. Also it was located in the red light district and we felt uncomfortable walking through the streets to the hotel. The room was very basic with no carpet, kettle or cupboards. Breakfast was meagre and bland so overall we were very disappointed...

If you're reading this, I hope it means you've decided to visit Munich. Excellent choice!!! After visiting many major european cities, I can certainly say that Munich is one of my favourite and you should definitely stay there longer than my boyfriend and I did. Hotel Daheim is in a great location with regards to the city center and public...

You could tell this hotel lives and dies only on one night stays. This is not a family hotel so spend the extra euro and choose a better location (in one of the worst, seedy parts of Munich) which is safe. The only positive was that this hotel had an amazing cleaning crew. The sweet cleaning lady kept this hotel...

We stayed on two separate nights on our journey elsewhere. The pictures of the rooms looked OK, but were in fact very basic. On our second stay, the shower cubicle was inside the room itself, and there was no plug in the sink. Beds were comfortable, but it was almost impossible to sleep because of the noise outside - and...

Only 6 minutes walk from Munch main train station. Located in local pub and bar and street food, closed to supermarket. Not recommended to family with children. Average hotel, no free internet access, too noisy cause center location and nearby Main Street.

The property is located close to the main rail station and has good soundproofing. Our room was a soulless cell like structure with no room for storage and relaxing. Our visit coincided with a cold snap and the only thing to say about the heating in the room was that it was plentiful! No way of turning it down so...

Plus points: Near main railway station & other local transport links. Cheaper than budget. Friendly & efficient staff. Negative points: Room small & dingy,no view from window in any direction. Bathroom very small. Took almost 5 minutes to get any hot water from shower. Main room light very dim, more light from a candle. Light needs to be on even in...

I had to be in Munich on what turned out to be one of the busiest days of the spring, the Munich spring festival. My hosts could not book me in their usual hotel, and the only one available was the Hotel Daheim in the general location. The price was good considering how much the other hotels had jacked up...
