Stayed 6 mnights to attend the fair. Location unbeatable : in front of the station but still away from the "reddish" district a little up going to Stachus.
Check-in/out experience was excellent. Hurray the attentive staff !
Room is surprisingly spacious and well-furnished : cofee maker refilled every day, mini bar, 2 types of bottled water, Ironing board, and excellent cabin shower despite the weird location people joke about in reviews.
My room was facing the inner yard as I asked for a quiet room. Front rooms should be more noisy due to the tram driving by until after midnight.
Breakfast not more than average, could be more efficient if the hotel installed a coffee machine to avoid the overwhelmed waiters. This said, I am not sure about the level of stress the staff works under in view of the pandemic situation...

Location for this hotel is truly fantastic; you're within a few minutes of Marienplatz and multiple shopping and dining options. You're also across the street from the Munich Central Station: if you're traveling regionally or leaving Germany by train, this may be the best location for you.
HOWEVER...
Room upkeep left much to be desired. Minibar items were never replenished in our five night stay, towels were only seldom changed (only folded back into place), sheets were also just folded, not changed, in the entire time we were there. Trash was not even fully taken out: trash cans were emptied, but empty cups or bottles left at the desk or nightstand were not thrown away. While I understand that not everything has to be fully replaced or maybe shouldn't in the name of sustainability, I would expect housekeeping to please take away an empty coffee cup.
The bed was comfortable. The pillows offer zero neck support. If that's important to you, you may have trouble sleeping. The shower is right next to the bed and has no privacy, so unless you're comfortable with the person you're staying, you're going to have to step out of the room while your roommate showers. Lighting in the room is rather terrible; in order to get proper lighting, you have to open the window. The lights are too dim to light up the room.
At the end of the day, when you are traveling, you're looking forward to returning to your hotel room, and we did not, in this particular case.
I can't comment on the other hotel facilities as we did not use them.

Location is on front of the Train central station and 10 mins walking from the KarlPltz means that you are in the center of the city.
The service is amazing, everyone was nice and helpful, especially Lisa-Marie that is a real princess!
The room is very nice and veery clean, breakfast is very good (what you need to eat and very fresh).
We highly recommand!!

Flemings was clean, centrally located, and decent value for the cost. The front desk was very attentive and kind (and will store your bags if you have a late train). We had a room over the parking lot so didn’t experience any issues with noise. I will say though Friday night outside is a little sketchy by the train station depending on the time (not the hotel) There is a laundry around the corner and cost us 17€ to wash and dry almost two weeks of clothes (so not bad for Europe). We took the train out to Nürnburg and Füssen on separate days and left on a night jet to Copenhagen. Easy to get around with the train being close.

As a note on the shower yes it is open glass to the room but my spouse and I knew that ahead of time (and you can see on the website)

Room Tip: Avoid a room on the Main Street lower levels, we had one towards the parking lot and it was perfect!

Our experience at Flemings hotel exceeded our expectation! My husband and i were traveling to Munich for Oktoberfest and this hotel was so centrally located. The hotel and restaurant staff were extremely nice and accommodating, upon check in they gave us an overview of the festival and provided us s with a map and tips on how to get to and from the festival grounds.

We were lucky enough to get upgraded to one of the two floor suites which was fantastic and would recommend booking if possible! The room was very spacious with two bathrooms, which is perfect if you are sharing the room with another couple and or family. The only thing to keep in mind is that the shower is a glass shower and the rest of the guest can see you, but it is still a great room!

Overall we had such a great experience and if you are visiting Munich for Oktoberfest, it is def worth the price! We can wait to come back!

We stayed here for 4 nights in August 2021. The location is right across the train station. I was suprized to see how large the room was. All appliances in the room were new or well maintained. I loved the coffe machine and the big bottles of water they offered in the room. The room was facing to a main street however the windows were sound-proof. We slept very well. I would come back here again.

Flemings hotel Munich city
Biggest snowstorm in Munich in the last 7 years.
Outside temperature is minus 7 centigrade, yet room did not have heating!
Nobody at reception: we had to go find someone next door in the restaurant.
Rooms did not have central lights: there are a few here and there but the room was generally very dark.
No facilities: coffee, tea.
As a welcome gift we had 2 Chinese fortune cookies in our room, this was just so condescending.
Showers are INSIDE the rooms separated by full length glass panels: this is such a bad idea.
Restaurant next door (operated by the hotel): serves great breakfast (with Belgian chocolate on tap!), but do not use it for dinner: they do not have vegetarian dishes; eventually asked for a green salad which turned out to be just a few LIMP lettuce leaves.
Lots of art books at reception but no tourist brochures of any kind.
Rooms not cleaned daily, nor towels changed.
Mattress super-super soft and very uncomfortable.

Dear guest, thank you for letting us know about your stay with us. We are very sorry for hearing about those issues. All of our rooms are having heating bodies as well as tea/coffee facilities. As well as your description of our restaurant food (there are many more vegetarian options available) this does not go along with our standards. Again we are very sorry for not getting up to our standards at all during your stay here. For us it is very important to check about this. Therefore we would be pleased to get in contact with you directly as we can not see any details about your stay right now. You can contact us any time: leon.knoeferl@flemings-hotels.com All the best for your and your family! Kind regards Leon Knöferl Guest Service Manager

On the whole, a great hotel in a good place for a quick walk into the centre.
Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Room was a good size with a large shower. However, I would have preferred the sink to have a plug that closes and I didn't like having to drink from paper cups. On the second day the cups weren't replaced, which was a bit strange!

It helps that I got a good deal for my stay, with breakfast included (can be skipped if too expensive). For me the highlight was the room and extremely early check in provided by the hotel. The room was very large (by Europe 4 * standards), airy and bright. 2 single beds joined together are a bit off a let down. Complimentary mini bar great, coffee maker great, shower cubicle in middle of the room very eclectic, staff friendly, restaurant breakfast service standards a bit lazy but improved when pointed out.
Location brilliant, stones throw from Karlplatz, trams and U bahn
What's not to like... Oh... Also I had a corner room so maybe I really got lucky

A very irritating self check in service with a machine that doesn't work. Very budget hotel feel despite a relatively high price paid for the room. At EUR400pn the room has almost no natural light being in an attic with the only window partially obscured by the TV

I would think there would be no problem with your luggage. They went to great lengths to accommodate us. I think an email inquiry would answer your question.
