Stayed in 2012 with some mates in our campervan. While more expensive than other places we stayed, this was due to Oktoberfest. Good for the money, easy to get into town. Amenities adequate, food OK. Live entertainment provided by some of the Aussie tour companies which is a good party starter

We stayed here for oktoberfest. It was a very bad experience, I would never return. The staff was rude when we checked in, we had to ask where basic things were. We had the unfortunate luck of rain which complicated matters. They had no plan of a place for us to stay despite our reservation being 1 year old. The...

It's not a bad camping nor a good camping. For the few days that I spend during the almighty oktoberfest it was good. If you come early to the bathroom it' pretty clean, only after a few hours, the bathroom is dirty as hell. No free wifi (yet?) and the little supermarket is pretty expensive. But if you want a...

Large site with large pitches. A very expensive site for what it is. Electric is on a metre, showers one euro plus the fee for 2 adults and 1 teenager, 32 euros a night. (The pitch fee increase by another 3.50 euros during Oktoberfest) . Large toilet block, bar and small shop, fresh bread rolls every morning. Lots of information...

Huge campsite . Kitted out for huge groups. 25 euros a night. Wifi and showers cost extra- euro for a 6minute shower. Despite its size it was quiet at night and pitch sizes good. Right outside a bus stop which takes you to a train station into Munich. Straightforward journey regular service. Toilets and showers generally clean, although not immaculate....

Cheap and bus accessible into town, pay for power and showers in coins. No washing machines. We visited during beer fest but was still able to find camper can site. Big shower blocks. Staff pretty helpful. Bus tickets available at recept. Mini shop and food place on grounds.

Drunk staff, noisy, sleeping bags provided were useless, froze to death, no pillows, have to pay for a 6 minute shower, weirdly over sexualised business, over priced, lines for toilets and showers, unhygienic toilets and showers, smelly, food looked like vomit, don't be surprised if you get food poisoning!

Small shop had beer so not a problem...need to pay for showers here 1euro and also need 50c coins for electric meter so be warned. Bus stop right outside the gate...can buy tickets at the site...20 mins to centre of Munich. Will be back...

This site is extremely basic, that said, the shop is well stocked with essentials. The bar is very comfortable, and the sanitary facilities are clean. We stayed in a motorhome, the site is level and has many hard standing pitches. The reception staff are very helpful, especially with directions and help using the public transport (tip buy your ticket from...

Miserable due to weather and unfriendliness of owners. Not a smile was cracked on arrival and they failed to tell us you needed to buy tokens for the shower (1 euro) and needed 50c pieces for the electric. Fortunately we discovered this before they shut reception unlike a couple we met later who had no heating for a cold and...
