What a wonderful experience. Sebastian and The staff at Hotel Laimer Hof are so incredibly helpful. They all have impeccable English and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive until you leave. Our room was very clean, and the free breakfast was very european and delicious. The hotel is in a suburban area, and it is...

I cannot overstate how welcome we felt here. From the first day we showed up, and we stayed here 9 days, until our last day today we were treated with smiles, courtesy, hospitality and plenty of help to getting in and around here. We traveled all over Bavaria while staying here and everyday that we were going someplace new, we...

We stayed at this fantastically welcoming hotel for a couple of nights en route to the mountains of Austria. We arrived late and was shown to our large clean comfortable room to unpack. As we had been traveling all day we needed to stretch our legs. We was provided with a map of the local area and set off for...

Probably the best part of our trip to very cold January Munich was this hotel! Ian and Sebastian (the owner) were very nice and also they gave us a very nice beer glass for souvenir! Hotel was clean and the breakfast was good (which I totally recommend coffees). If you are looking for a lovely hotel at a reasonable price,...

Just stayed at this superb hotel for three nights with nine friends. From the moment we arrived it was obvious we had made the right choice. Sebastian and all his staff were very welcoming and made us feel as if we were at home. The hotel is on the main rail line from the airport and into Munich itself so...

If you are looking for a decent hotel at a reasonable price, this is a good choice. Yes the interior is dated but clean and serves the purpose well. The area is quiet with a nice variety of good restaurants and with a fast connection into town.

The Hotel Laimer Hof and its authentic surroundings and fabulously welcoming and knowledgeable staff was definitely the best part of our 5 week holiday over Xmas/New year. From the initial accommodation email enquiry direct with the hotel right through to our departure day, everyone we encountered during our stay was smiling and helpful, providing every minute detail to us so...

We recently enjoyed three nights at Hotel Laimer Hof for our family visit to Munich. We had extensively researched hotel options and chose the Rösch family's hotel. It is exactly the kind of hotel we like - family-run, well equipped, clean, exceptional breakfast, remarkably quiet, great, central location for sightseeing - walking distance to Nymphenburg Palace, restaurant Hirschgarten and public...

This hotel is lovely it is situated a short tram ride from the city center and walking distance from the Schlossberg Castle. The very best thing about it is the people. The staff is warm, welcoming, caring and conscientious. We really felt attended to and...

Grand old hotel with lots of character. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Very easy to take the tram downtown and we could buy tickets at the hotel and also the hop on hop off bus tickets. They made us feel like family. Very good Italian restaurant at the end of the block.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
As a young family of hoteliers, Alexandra and Sebastian Rösch took over the Hotelvilla in summer 2003 and in the meantime are managing it as one of the most popular hotels in Munich, according to numerous evaluations by the guests. The neo-Renaissance villa was built in 1886 and is one of the buildings with the longest tradition in the town district of Nymphenburg. The Hotel is very popular for weddings and offers two romantic tower rooms for overnight stays. The location of the hotel is one of the finest in Munich, very close to Nymphenburg Palace, and simply unique. Europe's largest beer garden, the Königlicher Hirschgarten (the Royal Stag Garden), is only five minutes away on foot. Direct public transport connections to all the sights and attractions of Munich by bus, tram and rapid-transit railway can be reached from the hotel in only a few minutes.
