Location is a nice quiet neighborhood away from the busy downtown. Within walking distance of the tram, S-Bahn and a few restaurants, including the Koniglicher Hirschgarten. Cheery and helpful front desk staff, cozy rooms with the usual tiny bathroom. Nice breakfast spread – cold cuts, hard-boiled eggs, cheeses, fruit, cereal, juices, bread.

I cannot overstate how welcome we felt here. From the first day we showed up, and we stayed here 9 days, until our last day today we were treated with smiles, courtesy, hospitality and plenty of help to getting in and around here. We traveled all over Bavaria while staying here and everyday that we were going someplace new, we...

I had read a lot of the 5-star reviews before visiting and fully agree with what was said about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, they could not have been better. The location was also good and public transport generally in the city is amazing. However, the hotel itself is no more than 3-star. The bedrooms are very dated,...

Hotel Laimer Hof, its owners Alexandra and Sebastian, and staff helped make our three days in Munich extremely enjoyable. The hotel is small and charming, breakfast is plentiful and the owners and staff helped us with transport suggestions and more. Being around the corner from Schloss Nymphenberg, the Botanic Gardens, and buses and trams is an added bonus. We will...

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It's quaint. In a lovely neighbourhood. Very close to the palace (we walked over in about 5 minutes). Sebastian and Alexandra (and of course adorable Bagheera) are so welcoming. Anything you could need help with is there for you. The rooms are a good size. Best water pressure in a shower of...

Thank you Alexandra, Sebastian, Jan and all the team for a fantastic stay. Your enthusiasm and passion for providing a personal experience is something other hotels are missing. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

We stayed for three nights in a family room and had a lovely stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and seemed genuinely interested in making our stay good, with lots of helpful tips about the area. The room itself was quite large and easily fitted a double bed, a sofa bed and an extra baby cot in addition...

My group of two couples stayed here three nights and will definitely stay here again when in Munich. This quaint small hotel is a real gem in a beautiful quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the Nymphemburg Palace and gardens, good restaurants, and the tram. Being away from the busy center of town is a plus. Every afternoon when...

What a wonderful place to stay in Munich! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the neighborhood was quiet and picturesque. Breakfast was basic but good. But the helpfulness of the staff is really beyond compare. All of the staff that we met were friendly and helpful, but Jan in particular was fantastic! He gave us excellent advice on places to...

One of the best stays I have ever had. Sebastian and Alexandra were gracious hosts. When my cab driver wouldn't accept my credit card they advanced me 80 Euros without any questions asked. They were friendly, welcoming and helpful planning our stay. The rooms were clean, nice and very cozy. Next time in Munich I will definitely stay there.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
As a young family of hoteliers, Alexandra and Sebastian Rösch took over the Hotelvilla in summer 2003 and in the meantime are managing it as one of the most popular hotels in Munich, according to numerous evaluations by the guests. The neo-Renaissance villa was built in 1886 and is one of the buildings with the longest tradition in the town district of Nymphenburg. The Hotel is very popular for weddings and offers two romantic tower rooms for overnight stays. The location of the hotel is one of the finest in Munich, very close to Nymphenburg Palace, very safe and simply unique. Europe's largest beer garden, the Königlicher Hirschgarten (the Royal Stag Garden), is only five minutes away on foot. Direct public transport connections to all the sights and attractions of Munich by bus, tram and rapid-transit railway can be reached from the hotel in only a few minutes.
