Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

ROOM: A twin room is big, very quiet. It was toward inner courtyard. If there is any one toward the street, it might be also quiet because the street is quiet too. One of two radiator was broken, it could not be turned off. In the room was too hot. Not very smart solution was to have open windows. There was no free electric socket by the bed or by the table. I disconnected the fridge in the room (there was another one in the kitchen). So I was free of its buzzing and got electrical distribution box for my gadgets. BATHROOM: Acceptable, not very big, not small. Not brand new. KITCHEN: Poorly illuminated cabinet. Lack of dishes. In whole apartment only one glass (capacity o.5 l). You can drink wine from the coffee cup or bear glass. WIFI: Practically no wifi. CLEANESS: Clean enough as is possible concerning old sanitary. VALUE FOR MONEY: Good. Not expensive concerning the location. Very good only for sleeping.

If you like your accommodation to be in the style of Stalag 13 then this is the place for you. It seems that the owner is extremely reluctant to spend any money that might make the place even remotely comfortable for his guests. The bathroom towels looked as if they were hospital surplus from the year 1805 and were threadbare to the point that one of them had a large hole in it . The shower curtain had traces of mould along the bottom. The light bulb (yes,ONE bulb in a three-bulb fixture) in the room could not have been more than 40 watts making the room depressingly dark.. In the evening you would need a flashlight to read a book. . There were no covers on the pillows. Yuck. The bed my traveling companion was using sounded like it was about to completely fall apart every time she moved. All these things are easily and cheaply fixed but it appears that the owner doesn't care. It's too bad because the location is very good.

My colleague and I used this accomodation as a base for participation at the Intersolar 2017 Exhebition in Munich Messe and are likely to return, although we do’t have a good internet service (wifi). Positive points - Great location. Within easy walking distance of the Isartor tram and rail stations as well the central tourist areas of Munich. Easy rail access to Munich airport using S8 - Close to Isar river and Deutches Museum. - Generous wardrobe space - Table and two chairs - Lift is available, but still some steps to be negotiated. - Close to Pizza Hut, MacDonalds, Pharmacy, supermarket, other shops Negative points - Accommodation claims to have fully equipped kitchen, but this is really just a cabinet with two hot plates, microwave, sink, coffee pod machine. - No kettle, no toaster. It was difficult to make tea/instant coffee. - Only three small cups. No coffee mugs. - Limited cooking utensils - Very low speed wifi internet, that was not working almost.

As above really - not flash or upmarket, but comfortable and clean and close to the city centre. The owner speaks excellent English and it is what it is. You may want to pay more for something exotic for a romantic weekend break but for a couple of nights, it's just fine.

I still wait for someone telling me that it is a joke. But unfortunately it is a shame. I ve never seen such a dirty and naughty room. Everywhere it was nests of dust and "old" dirth.. Fixed from years. If you clean with a paper towels the floor towel goes black. On the bathroom door you can admire stranger white spots and yellow dust. The fridge has'nt a handle to open, you have to force it with a knife. Inside it....Let's imagine. The drawers of micro-kitchen are fifths because of duster and any other trash. pots and cutlery unusable. It was disgusting. The beds haven't the sheets, but only a worn and stained mattress cover. On the bed you can find anyone' hairs. If you lifts the mattress you can see its wonderful B-side with surprise... A big stain of piss (perhaps). We called booking.com assistance for claim and solutions to run away. We didn't sleep and talked and wrote mails to booking assistance all night long. We waited for solutions since today 14 May at 10 am, than we've left the room. The guardian who lives next our room told to us to leave the room key inside the room on the table, and that we did. We checked out at 10:45 and we looked for another accommodation. I have lost one day off, we were tired and sick because of breathing dust and bacteria. Than at early noon the assistance of booking.com sanded to me an automatic mail of canceled reservation because we never checked in and so we have to pay 80% of bill ?!!? Is it a scary movie! It is against every rights traveler. It' dangerous for human health. This is a fraud ...from fake pictures of exterior structure till the offering of a large and comfortable apartment showing fake pictures of rooms that you can't anymore see after booking. This is the first time that after booking it wasn't possible to see the pictures of your room again. The last mockery and fraud is that I can't leave a feedback on booking.com because they cleverly " delete" my reservation so it seems that I have never been there. We have to be careful and verified on web every structure on booking.com. In fact if you search on web this structure you ll never find it, it hasn't a email or a registered office. Locals people told us they were paying 20€ per day for the same "apt" and that without going through booking.com. I upload real pictures of the structure for you. Finally owner said to booking.com that I ve nothing to pay at all. But that is only a due reimbursement! Never forget that I have lost a day off. I'm sorry but this owner must never work again with Booking and Tripadvisor or with human people. That all volk!

My wife and I used this accommodation as a base for touring the sites of Munich and are likely to return, although self-catering facilities are limited. Positive points - Great location. Within easy walking distance of the Isartor tram and rail stations as well the central tourist areas of Munich. Easy rail access to airport using S8 - Close to Isar river and Deutches Museum. - Extremely clean and fairly well maintained. - Small, but adequate and clean bathroom. Toilet, basin, shower, mirror - Generous wardrobe space - Table and two chairs - Television [but with few English options] - Lift is available, but still some steps to be negotiated. - Close to Pizza Hut, MacDonalds, Pharmacy, supermarket, other shops [Tal Street] Negative points - Accommodation claims to have fully equipped kitchen, but this is really just a cabinet with two hot plates, microwave, sink, coffee pod machine. - No kettle, no toaster. It was difficult to make tea/instant coffee. - Only three small cups. No coffee mugs. - Limited cooking utensils - Two single beds. Not double as requested. Felt flimsy/likely to break [One appeared to be coming apart] - No extra bedding or pillows available in the room. - Safe was provided, but was not in working order.
