This was my first stay at this hotel and found that it was very conveniently located from the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) as it was an easy walk even with lot's of luggage. The inner rooms are very quiet and each room has a "forest theme" but with very nice lighting and with separate shower and toilet area. For the size of the room, it was very well laid out. The only negative feature was that the desk area was about the size of an airplane table tray but I did manage to do a lot of my work as the seating area was very comfortable. The breakfast is also good and is next to the inner courtyard (which I believe they open up during the warmer seasons).

Hello Rod M, Thank you very much for the detailed and honest evaluation. We are very happy to hear that you really enjoyed your time with us and that you like our Birch Forest Design so much. We are sorry that your desk was a little too small, but we are also happy to hear that you were able to do your work anyway. We are looking forward to welcoming you again soon Kind regards from Munich, Bettina

The hotel is located in the middle of the city and there was a lot of construction. Our room was located on the 6th floor and we faced the courtyard. We did not have noise from the street, but we did have noise from the courtyard of people talking outside. It was Oktoberfest so I can understand people staying out late. It is in a location near the Oktoberfest grounds so it is easy to get around. Our room was small, but comfortable. Shower was in the bedroom and you had to step out on the carpet. Not the cleanest, but we made it work. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel is handily located near the main station, an easy walk with one suitcase. There is 24/7 service at reception, where you can also get a drink. The room is big enough at the price and the shower room has decent soaps and unguents. Comfy bed and adequate pillows. Online check in didn't work and one wonders why it is there at all, since

Hotel is extremely basic for the price (€380 for 3 nights) not the cheapest. The staff were unhelpful and rude. We paid extra to have our room cleaned each day and were told on arrival we would have to ask each morning to have it cleaned and used the “environment” as the excuse for this, even though each room has large waterfall inspired showers which aren’t very eco friendly!
The second morning the hairdryer stopped working in our room. I asked in reception for a spare and was told they didn’t have one. Hotel assistant didn’t even ask what room we were in or try help at all.
Hotel appears to be unfinished and designed on low budget. The area the hotel is located in is very dodgy. Strip clubs, shesha bars and casinos line the streets and the hotel is up a poorly light street with many homeless people and gangs hanging around.
Now for the positives, our beds were very comfy, room was clean and location 2 min walk from train station and Munich city centre!

Hotel did the cancelación through Booking.com , that we had previously paid, at 00:35 the day of arrival (while we were sleeping) and we had the unpleasant new that they were not even offering us a similar rate hotel or in the nearby. Suddenly it arrived the refund and that’s it. We had to lose at least 30’ in a hurry searching for an alternative near our friends. A disappointment that the hotel and booking gave us for being loyal costumers.

Convenient location near the main rail station and comfortable walk to many cultural attractions. However, the pleasure ends there. My room was dirty when I arrived and still dirty after I asked it be cleaned. There were cigarette fags outside the window of my room every day. The street in front of the hotel is filthy (yes, we are talking Munich). The reception area smelt of cigarettes from the smokers outside the front entrance and in the courtyard. There are much better options, including locally owned hotels, located in other parts of Munich that offer better value and a more pleasant stay.

If you like living on a construction site feel free. 0730 in the morning they start serious structural renovation. The manager makes excuses that it's for the 'benefit' of customers but makes no real apologies. My recommendation is.....avoid this hotel like it is the epicenter of COVID for now.

This hotel was great! The rooms were very small, which we knew and were ABSOLUTELY FINE with. This is pretty clear from photos so it shouldn’t be a surprise. The price and location can’t be beat, and our room was clean and beautiful and modern. The shower was fantastic, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was great! I spent a long time talking to one of the front desk workers when it was slow one day, and I think we could have kept on going for even longer. So friendly. Housekeeping doesn’t come in unless you need trash emptied and new towels. I actually prefer this anyway, as we usually decline housekeeping service anyway. You can take care of these things at the front desk too. We’ll stay here again.

When I arrived I felt uncomfortable due to the area and both receptionists laughing at my name and questioning why I was there for so long.
My room was complete with damp on the walls, black mould, a heavy bleach smell and towels on the floor. I went to reception to complain but no one was there. After coming back later in the evening - no one there! I tried again in the morning but there was a man on the phone who then left reception, so I just checked out to find another hotel.
The area was unsafe for a solo female traveller.

Great location -easy walking to the train, underground, trams, Marienplatz, and many restaurants. Comfortable beds, updated facilities. Free water! Helpful staff!
We did not include breakfast but it looked like a good variety of items.
