This was our first time in Munich and this hotel was recommended by an acquaintance who stays here often. During our European trip, we stayed in 4 different hotels and I must admit I was most concerned about this one because it wasn't ranked very high among all the Munich hotels on Tripadvisor. Thankfully, we were very pleasantly surprised by...

When we are in Munich we always try and stay at this hotel. It is in an area of Munich called swabbing which is a lovely area with a bo-ho feel. The hotel has parking and is close to the metro so it is easy to venture into the city from here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and...

This hotel was really nice, affordable, with pleasant staff, good breakfast and excellent location on the tram line (and 10 min walk to underground station). There was also an "artist's Christmas market down the street right next to the underground station.

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend as a place to stay and have a traditional Bavarian experience. I figured I was game and gave it a try. What a nice surprise! I was greeted by the house Frau and welcomed warmly. The room was clean and tidy, but really just a room with a bed, a little...

we arrived late in the evening and most hotels were fully booked while others had no triple rooms, so we were glad to have found this place by chance. pricey, but we got a big spacious room, actually two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom with two sinks and separate toilet. for an additional 5EUR we parked the car behind...

On behalf of my company I have inquired about booking 15 rooms on a weekly basis for the next three years. One would think that kind of business is interesting for a hotel. Apparently not. The receptionist, rude and in a foul mood on pick up, did not help to have my general questions answered. Apparently it is all on...

The best thing in this hotel is Mrs. Gosler at the reception. She can help you in any matter that you want and consult you how, what, where and when in Munich and vicinity. Second is all the rest : room, breakfast, location, transportation etc. Sure I'll come back to this hotel when I'm in Munich

The hotel was located relatively close to the MTC and had great access to bus and a short walk to trains. There were plenty of opportunities for a variety of dining settings a short walk away. A grocery store near by afforded us the opportunity to get snacks, breakfast/coffee stuffs that we were able to prepare after getting a kettle...

This hotel stood out to us as being a traditional Bavarian hotel, simply down to its look from the road. It proved to be just that but with facilities that far exceeded what we thought. The room we stayed in was number 7 which for us was fantastic as it was a smoking room !! (There are non smoking rooms...

If you expect an elegant hotel with all the amenities specializing in pleasing tourists, this is not the place for you. The Leopold appears to cater to visiting business travelers who don't want to pay the very high prices for downtown convenience. The Leopold was utterly spotless, as only the Germans and Swiss seem to be able to manage. My...

“Rooms facing Leopold str will hear emergency vehicle sirens at all times of the night and day. Do not take the "family room" in the summer.”

“There are rooms that overlook the parking area- which coincide with the apartments on the other side of the lot. If you like the window open your gonna hear Germany waking up and visitors coming and going- but if you want to keep an eye on your vehicle you can. Close the window and I didn't hear a thing.”
